Golf Tournament Stay

The property was a great location for getting to and playing on Jekyll Island. It was well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay.

Coastal Tranquility

Everything exactly as pictured… beautiful marsh view.. be aware of tides. Crabbing was fun.! Location to SSI, JI and Brunswick could not be better. Perfect hideaway: remote location while still close to beaches. Great for large group or smaller retreat. Bed we slept in was comfy!

Exactly what we needed

We absolutely loved our stay. It was peaceful and quiet. The home was absolutely beautiful and spacious. We all love different things about the home. I love the beautiful sunrises you could see from the bedroom. My husband loved the ability to just walk out to the docks and my son loved the game room. We look forward to visiting again fantastic communication with the owner and super easy check-in and checkout.

Long weekend getaway.

We enjoyed the property. Large spacious entertaining area. Dock access for our boat, we were able to ride to Cumberland and Christmas creek. Will definitely book again.

Wonderful place

Great place, very spacious! So clean and quiet and peaceful. About 20 minute drive to the beach and shops. Having a dock on the water and crab pots was great.

Peaceful

Love the layout of this house and the views of the marsh are fantastic! We saw dolphins and Osprey! This home is perfect for families. Great open space for the family to hang out yet bedrooms still offer quiet and privacy. It is ideal if you want a home base to get out and explore all the surrounding areas without the hassle of crowds of people. Clean home with gorgeous views that does offer tranquility.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanks for welcoming my family to your home. Communication was great! We appreciate how you handled the one issue we had while there and found your rental to be very well equipped and comfortable for our stay. The views over the marsh out the back were amazing.

We Loved our stay

Overall it was so quiet and peaceful. Only negative was the front porch light, Laundry light and outside yard lights did not work. I think bulbs needing changing, the ceiling fans had dust on them and there was a huge spill in one of the kitchen cabinets where someone spilled something on the island. Overall would most defiantly stay here again.

Quiet Marsh Front Home

We stayed for a golf tournament at Sanctuary. It is very convenient to the course and was perfect for us. The property is very peaceful and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing there each evening. Everything worked great and the water for showers was excellent too. Sometimes water in the costal areas smells a bit foul, but here it was perfect. We’d rent this place again when we come back to Sanctuary.

Marsh Getaway

Property was on a dead end road in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was as shown in the listing. We caught blue crab in the dock and enjoyed the sight seeing. Driftwood beach on Jekyll Island was a must see. We also visited the lighthouse and the pier on St. Simon Island. We caught around 9 blue crab off the dock using chicken neck for bait. The house was very big and had plenty of space. We would definitely visit again. Alot if bang for your buck. Kids loved the game room,bike riding in the neighborhood and crab catching

Fun property with some quirks

We really enjoyed the property. The salt marsh and crab traps were a very fun aspect of our vacation. The kids loved exploring the marsh and catching little crabs and baby shrimp at low tides (bring a castnet!) The house itself had some quirks- low water pressure, a few things needing some TLC, and not very well stocked. I’m guessing most people don’t think to bring shampoo and dishwasher detergent on vacation. Also it’s a good 20 minute drive to the nearest grocery store, so not just a quick minute to grab what you need. Overall, I would recommend this place for a unique experience.

Labor Day Weekend Show

It's hard to pass up a weekend in the Georgia Low Country. Views were beatiful, the crabbing was great for our LCB and the game room was wonderful. Some things to note: NO FOOTBALL/SPORTS CHANNELS. Luckily a friend was able to bring her Firestick so we could watch college football and any cable channel for that matter. The best way to contact the host isthrough text as they don't answer calls. The water pressure is spotty in some areas of the house. The double beds with a twin in the 2 downstairs bedrooms are bunkbeds with a trundle. Both. Other than that, if you don't mind the quirks it's great.

Nice house but cleaning and maintenance issues

The things that were good were very good. Game room, family room set up with comfortable couches and large TV, roomy kitchen, great views. Several issues needed attention. Broken cabinet doors, upstairs shower missing a knob and needs attention, tub won’t shut off, knobs keep spinning. No extra blankets for beds, not enough towels, 2 washcloths for the entire house, k cup and coffee makers but not stocked. No plastic cups for kids. Found quite a bit of pet hair in the bed, previous guests’ items in the sofa cracks, upstairs pillows clearly old and yellowed. Upstairs tv doesn’t have streaming services, only a vhs/dvd player but nothing to play on it. Many more issues, these are just a few. Property owner was friendly and responsive when we reached out and said there’s a new cleaning crew and sent additional towels. Also refunded our cleaning fee. The whole property needs a review and overhaul to maximize its potential and make a comfortable space for guests.

Our stay was amazing! The views of the morning sunrise and sunset from every window on the backside of the home just made the day that much better! The home was clean and cozy! I would recommend staying here with kids of all ages! We had 15 month old all the way up to 16 year old and there was something for everyone! We will be staying here again in the future!
