"This property was undergoing renovation during our stay. The hall was covered with protective cardboard and paint smell was noticeable. Our room was clean and comfortable and very large. It could have definitely used some redecorating as the furniture seemed somewhat random like the bookcase partially covering the mirror. It could be a lovely place with a great location once renovations are complete."

"the only plus for this hotel was the location next to the beach. Breakfast was a crap shoot never in the 4 morning we stayed there was the breakfast completely ready at 6 am. the path to the beach was life threatening to say the least going down to the beach the steps just stop with no railing to hold to and no one gave us any warning of this hazzard. Our room was clean but the A/C blew right at my head all the time, so I had to sleep at the bottom of the bed with my feet at the head. In the morning the sprinkler system gave my car an unnecessary washing. I don't know when this place was last remodeled but must have been a long time ago. No I will never stay ay this place AGAIN/."

"We had the fifth floor room with amazing views and a private balcony/pation area. The room was spacious and comfortable. It looks like they have been updating the rooms but it was cleanly. I have questions about the elevator due to the fact the last inspection expired in 2024 so that made me a bit nervous but couldn't quite figure out the stairs as they would end on one floor and not sure where they picked up (possibly on other side of hotel?). There was no hair dryer in the room as stated in the room description left on property. I called after hours about 5 and did not receive a response. I found a hotel employee in the rooftop restaurant and she graciously found me one about 9:30 that night. I don't know if there was an actual desk to check in/out at as we paid in full and they sent the room code to get in. Check out was at 11:00 a.m. but no check out instruction except a reminder to check out by 11:00. I thought the bed was comfortably but hubby thought it was too hard. Both the main bath/shower controls were difficult to understand. The 2nd bathroom shower by the main door was moldy. There was no phone to dial zero to get to a front desk they said they had. I was offered a tour for a travel credite which we declined and based on this stay, I would question the other properties and have doubts. It is close to the beach. Very close. Incredible views from our patio. Wish we knew if someone actually worked the desk."

"Cool historic place but for the price would’ve rather just visited. Super small rooms, one bar with five seats, no real on site dining for dinner, and man they better fix that water pressure as you’ll get more wet sweating than standing under that. Prob my last time visiting but cool place"
