Oak & Arrow Cabin On Bluedog Lake, Waubay - Hunting, Fishing, Vacation

  • This waterfront home is a true stunner ready to help you and your family relax and make memories while you're at it! A complete renovation in late 2019 transformed this home into a gorgeous retreat ready for families, hunters, anglers, and anyone else looking for a great little getaway on the water.

    The home features gorgeous views and modern furnishings. It has three (3) bedrooms and three (3) full bathrooms. The 2019 renovation included adding two new bathrooms and updates throughout the home. This layout features large bedrooms, each with a nearby bathroom. The kitchen features a convenient serving island with seating for four (4). The dining table comfortably seats 8-10 adults.

    Bedroom 1: King Bed (or Two Twin XL beds) and ensuite full bathroom. New Restonic Hybrid Mattress.
    Bedroom 2: Two (2) Queen Beds. New TempurPedic Mattresses, Firm and Soft
    Bedroom 3: One (1) Queen Bed. Hybrid Mattress

    A heated garage features three (3) kennel spaces for dogs. Full laundry onsite. A Weber gas grill and a Traeger pellet smoker are both available onsite. Gas is provided for the grill. Wood pellets for the smoker are the responsibility of the tenant.

    Guided hunting and fishing is also available. Fishing available on all local lakes. Hunting available for pheasants, deer, turkey, geese, and ducks on both private and public ground. Please contact the homeowner for rates or more information.

    Check in is any time after 4 PM. Check out is no later than 11 AM.

Our 2nd time staying at the oak and arrow. Had nice weather, good food and drink, kids enjoyed swimming, tubing, fishing, smores by the fire, and ice cream at the purple cow. Great place to stay.

This was our second year in a row staying here.. house and location work out great for us... 4 adults with two dogs..plenty of room. Highly recommend if you want to hunt anywhere vlose to this area.

Ice fishing weekend

Great spot for our group of ice fisherman. Lots of room and space for 7 guys to stay. Attached garage was nice for storing gear/hanging bibs & coats for the evening.Close to the main lakes we fished and bait shop.Had some wind blow drifts over the driveway and was cleared out promptly while we were fishing one day.

Great house on a quiet lake

We had a fun relaxing week in this nice lake house! The table was big enough for our whole family and we enjoyed the kitchen to feed the whole crew. The fire pit and grill made hanging pit even more fun and Blue Dog Lake was shallow and clear enough for safe swimming off the dock for the kids. We had lots fun fishing on this lake on surrounding ones and visiting area state parks. We really enjoyed the vinegar museum which was a surprise for small kids!
