"We liked this hotel and enjoyed the atmosphere - a positive mix of a traditional hotel with modern flashes. according to notices in our room there is ongoing refurbishment to guest rooms which makes sense as our room whilst very clean and well equipped could be described a being tired. A great team who were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the late night bar and good breakfast. "

"The spa was inviting and the staff very good. Made to feel comfortable and the treatment was great. The pool area was okay and while we did enjoy it we just feel it lacked an intimate atmosphere as was a gym club. Definitely could have done with either drinks service for guests or a bar. However we enjoyed our stay and would go again "

"We had a great stay and enjoyed both the quality of the cottage and the excellent amenities. The host was attentive but not obtrusive and keen to make sure we had a nice time. Our 14 and 16 year olds really liked the hot tub and the large TV in each of the rooms, there are great views from the tub and cottage.The local Tesco is well stocked and only a 5 min drive away (walkable in 10-15 mins). The local high street also has a great selection of shops from a butchers, bakery, charity shops and even a Triumph Motorcycle garage. We really enjoyed our stay."

"We were upgraded to a larger room upon our arival. A beautiful space to relax in and a short walk away from the city center. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was like a home away from home... just nicer."

"The pub itself was lovely and welcoming, check in was easy, however there were a few things that i personally consider needs addressing The restaurant doesn’t start serving food for guests until 6.30 pm and when you have been on business all day i just wanted to relax with some nice food and a glass of wine, the reception told me the chip shop was open, that is where i went. The room on arrival was very cold as the radiator was not on, blinds in the bathroom did not close and the towel rail was very dirty, the netflix channel was stuck on a foreign language so couldn’t access or add my account, please also consider removing the green light that stays on all night inside the room by the door, it was very difficult to block it out, however breakfast was amazing "
