"Lejlighederne på An den Lindenbäumen er ringe standard. Der var ikke 5 senge + sengetøj som bestilt, så en måtte sove på sofaen. Lyset virkede ikke i alle rum. Der manglede bestik til alle i køkkenet og endelig stank der fælt i opgangen. Man skal gå igennem toilet/bad for at komme til det ene værelse. Mærkelig indretning. Vi klagede og fik en anden lejlighed i byen som var fin. Men den første kan man ikke tillade sig at leje ud. "

Some challenges getting in touch with hotel management as we had access issues. On the plus, they were polite and did do their best to be helpful once we connected. "Beware of extra costs!! We were forced to pay for parking even though it is stated several times in the description as free. When we asked about this, the landlady became very unpleasant and threatened that if we did not pay, we could just cancel. There was a strong and very unpleasant smell in the bedroom - smelled of old sweat. I think it came from the sofa bed, where they had clearly tried to remove something/stain. "This was a very unique experience. The building was a former monastery from the 1100s. We stayed on one of the upper floors which had low-clearance, original beams. I’m 6’4” and had to duck a lot. Maybe that wouldn’t be too fun for an extended stay. It was nice to have a cathedral ceiling. I think this was only in a few rooms. Bed was typical German stiff and slightly uncomfortable. Breakfast buffet was one of the best of our trips so far. The Christmas market was only a 10 minute walk away. "
