The rooms were very clean. The staff was accommodating and kind - even though they were very busy! We really enjoyed the continental breakfast and we didn’t get down there until they were twenty minutes left before it closed. They still had many options and it was clean - especially for being fully booked with basketball and hockey tournaments!!

They were not cleaning rooms on Thanksgiving day. WHAT?? This is a HOTEL! They did supply extra towels because of this.

I was in town on business and stayed here for two nights. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Beds are firm, so if you're a side sleeper like myself, you might want to bring a mattress topper. Breakfast the first morning was good, second day orange juice was watered down and food was cold. Shower water pressure was very low too. Good channel selections on tv and good internet.

The room was amazing for our family. Two queen beds, a pull put plus a king bed in a separate room. It was a great place to stay as we explored Teddy Roosevelt National Park.

Great place.
The overall experience was good. However, the breakfast was not kept up with, one employee was not able to ensure everything was refilled. Not a big deal, but I did not get any breakfast or coffee while there because both days I tried the few items I wanted were empty but probably refilled after I had to leave.

I absolutely love the suite with 1 king and 2 queen beds, so nice for traveling with older children. The breakfast selection is so extensive and accommodating of dietary restrictions.

Great place
The only complaint that we had was the ac units are make a strange and somewhat loud noise due to the fans in them. Everything else was great! Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

The place served its purpose. However, the staff were not masked, nor was there any signage to maintain social distancing or mask up. If I had known that, I would have definitely opted to stay somewhere they take COVID seriously.

Overall a great experience. We had moved from one hotel to this one because the last one was a major fail. Mainstay had great rooms, were clean, offered a great safe breakfast and lots of hand sanitizer around the area. Overall, an excellent stay for us.

Night staff was very nice. My first room, the furnace wasn’t working properly so she moved me across the hall. Unfortunately, there was a diesel pickup right outside my room that ran all night and it was so noisy the clerk gave me ear plugs. I slept on the couch and closed the bedroom door to get relief from the noise. I didn’t get relief from the noise until 439 am and had to get up at 530 for an important business meeting. When I told the manager that morning during checkout she just shrugged her shoulders after I played her the video of the noise in my room. I waited for some sort of apology but nothing. So I told her that I would be sending the video to their corporate office and again she just shrugged her shoulders. After I left the facility, I received a voice mail with an apology for my inconvenience. I called back and told her thank you for the apology but it would have been nice if she could have acknowledged that in person. Very poor customer service at the management level.

Grear hotel, boring area
The hotel was lovely. Everything was new, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly. The inkynthing missing was a pool.... The area was not great. There was nothing to do. The local grocery store was super expensive. The hotel was far from everything. If you need to be in Watford City, then definitely stay here. If you're visitting the national park, stay in Medora.
