Iowa Nice

We stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites based on it's beautiful pool and location to UNI and Main Street Cedar Falls. The hotel has comfortable beds, is updated, and in a great location to access Cedar Falls activities. We were expecially pleased with the friendliness of the staff...they certainly were "Iowa nice"!!!

Great basic hotel

This hotel met our needs very well. The service at check-in was great! Room was clean and spacious. I had to go to bed very early to get up and get on the road by 3AM and heard very little noise from the hallways.

Unfortunately my check in was delayed over an hour due to limited housekeeping and my room not being ready. In addition, neither the iron or the microwave worked properly. However the staff (namely Michelle), despite being overworked, was extremely gracious and helpful. Because of that, I still considered my stay a good one.
