Spring Break on the Lake Year #3

Each stay at GG’s proves to be just as fantastic as the last. Thank you J&L Morris for allowing our family to enjoy this home away from home again. It’s a great place to relax, take “adventure” walks, enjoy the beach and peacefully canoe on the lake.

Lovely spot for a get away

If you enjoy watching birds - this is a gem. Easily saw 15 species without really working at it. Very clean property - with lots of room in the house for a big family (we only used 1/4 of the bedrooms).

Perfect weekend

This was our 3rd year staying here and it just doesn't get any better. This property is exactly what we enjoy every year. It's quiet, off the main roads, close to the ocean and fits the 5 of us perfect with everyone having their own space.Another year in the books and looking forward to year 4!

Comfortable home in a lovely setting

We loved our stay at John and Lorrie's! The home was very clean. John was responsive and available after we checked in when we had a few questions about kitchen supplies and the stove which was helpful. I appreciate that they lent us some roasting pans for our first dinner! We loved being right on the lake and saw some bald eagles and blue herons. We were able to walk or drive to the beach and it was great bring so close to Astoria which we visited twice. We'd love to stay here again!

Sweet Spot

This was a sweet spot to get off the road for a couple of days. We enjoyed the “out of the way” location and the quiet evenings unwinding from our travels. This home had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Would recommend.

Great home

We love this home. It is right on the lake and so peaceful. It has just the right amount of room so you still feel comfortable, but not crowded. The owners are very helpful and communicative. This was our second stay and we will stay again in the future.

The house was a great location with view of the lake and a short walk or drive to the beach. It had enough space for our three families with kids to spread out and still be able to gather around the large table and the living room. Kitchen was fully stocked and loved the washer and dryer too. We would love to come stay again!

Great stay

This was a perfect base camp for exploring the coast. The location was very central to all of the places we wanted to explore and the house was excellent. Very well kept and clean. Although it was just the two of us, there was easily enough room for a whole family. The hosts were very friendly and communication was great. We would definitely recommend this property.

Home is better in person

The home was clean and perfectly located near trails, cute bakery/coffee shop and beach access. Close to Seaside and Astoria. There was a bald eagle, otters and baby ducks to enjoy watching with our morning coffee. I would stay here again!

Home for Thanksgiving

This four bed house was for my overflow family visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday. Close enough to walk to and still provide the extra space needed. It was everything I wanted. Thank you.

Great location

Located halfway between Warrenton and Seaside, an ideal location for the NW Oregon Coast. (Big plus - Costco, Walmart, and Fred Meyer are only minutes away!) Enjoyed seeing the wildlife on the lake across the road. And the beach is just 1/4 mile away The home is very nice with plenty of space, and the friendly owners are right next door.

FUNset Lake and Beach

2nd year in a row and we loved it just as much as the 1st. Great hosts and atmosphere and the perfect location. The lake is so peaceful and the beach perfect. It’s the best of both worlds. The trail nearby is a fun, easy adventure between the house and the beach. We are looking forward to year 3.

Best of Time!

Money cant buy happiness, but it can buy you a three night stay at this wonderful beach house with your closest friends! We made memories that will last a lifetime and we will be back again next year! The house is absolutely perfect, the lake was perfect for paddle boarding, we BBQd on the front porch, played volleyball in the sand, drove into town for shopping and dinner and truly had the best of time! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for the lovely stay! 10/10 recommend this home, location and host!
