Fantastic lake house that has it all!

We’ve been lucky enough to stay at this beautiful home multiple times. Each year we come back there’s something new to enhance your stay. I think we did most of it this trip again- fishing, kayaks, hot tub, game room, grill, etc! The house is always very clean and well stocked with any kitchen appliances you might need, too. We love to stay here!

This place was perfect for our 6 women adventure group. It has a beautiful setting with plenty of activities at the home and property. We did many of the activities at the house and there were still many more we could have chosen. The site of the home is in a great place-we did activities in Astoria, Seaside, Cannon Beach and the beaches at all, as well as drove to Tillamook Factory. Easily reached our host and received helpful answers, a generous host to share this wonderful vacation home!

Framily vacation and peace!

This is a great property for a large group. Right on the lake - lots of gear for water sports. Pool and ping pong tables. A game room. This place had it all. The owner was great to work with. Highly recommend!

Amazing space!

Girls trip of 6, plenty of comfy beds, perfect with 3 bathrooms. Wonderful, open floor plan, plenty of seating. Need to come back when the weather is nicer, tons of outdoor fun/amenities/space. Lots of extra touches, great communication. Wildlife too!

Peaceful lakeside retreat

Had a wonderful time at this beautiful lakeside property. Very clean, well maintained and with a really well stocked kitchen. Lots of amenities and many options in the game room. The host was very easy to reach and extremely helpful to get us settled in, a big thank you to him for making our stay as memorable as possible. Hope to return in future, would highly recommend this place to others!

Great house for family gathering

We were very pleased with the house and all the available amenities. There was something for everyone to do outdoors from the kayaks, canoes, pizza oven, bbq grill, hot tub, corn hole, etc. There was plenty of room indoors, and we especially enjoyed the ping pong table. Would definitely stay again.

A Real Coastal Treat: Centrally Located for Maximum Sightseeing

This Gearhart gem was jam-packed full of amenities for all ages. We brought four teenagers and to their sheer happiness, boats, canoes, pong-pong, gaming, fishing, a sauna and more delighted them during our stay. A great central location between Astoria and Seaside, easy to find, and be a good home base for sightseeing. The host communications were excellent and our needs were met with this gem, did I mention walking paths to the beach! A must stay on the North Coast!

The home was beautiful. Its close enough to the beach but having the lake access was great! The hosts were kind and available for any questions. Kitchen has everything you'd need! Bedrooms are clean. We had a fantastic vacation!

Thanksgiving Mini Vacation

I loved our stay in this lake house. We made our Thanksgiving dinner there and it was amazing in just a few days the memories we made there. The property was beautiful and well maintained. I would love to come during the summertime and enjoy the outdoors more. Thank you!

Far better than expected

Wonderful family experience. Extremely welcoming with so many extra touches, you feel pampered and taken care of in all the right ways. Beds are very comfortable with amenities all around to assure that your experience is a memorable one. Private location, crickets, deer, birds of all kinds…It is s truly a magical place to relax and enjoy family time. Already planning our return. Host is just as gracious as this home is. Golf get away to Gearhart

House in great location on a fantastic lot. Outside space perfect for active groups. Dock area a bit unsafe for littles and the water toys were old dirty. But the house was great and we really enjoyed the stay

Sisters and spouses beach getaway

This property is really cool! We had 4 couples so this was a place with 4 bedrooms with queen or king size beds and 3 full bathrooms which was really nice! There were tons of things to do so nobody was ever bored. Games galore in the garage and game room, outdoor games, a hot tub, and water fun on the lake as well as being in walking distance to the beach (but you can also drive on the beach here as well). The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and extras, and there was an extra refrigerator and freezer space in the garage. We would definitely go back! :)

Fabulous Lake House!

This house has it all! My teenage grandkids loved all the activities available basketball, volleyball, pool table, ping pong table, air hockey, foosball, horse shoes, corn hole and especially all the boats, kayaks, paddle boards (and life jackets). In the morning you can sit outside with a coffee and watch the wildlife on the lake and the deer come get a drink. At night there was s’mores at the fire pit, hot tub and sauna for relaxing. The kitchen is very well stocked including an air fryer and the outside patio has a huge gas grill, Traeger and a pizza oven. The beds are comfortable and every bedroom has a TV. The location is great, between Seaside and Astoria. Communication was easy and prompt. We’ll definitely be back!

Property had lots to offer, sauna, spa, dock. Owner did not know inventory of gear on property. Specifically we asked if they had a crab pot for soaking overnight, they said no but indeed they had one after we had to pack our own and bring. There was a mouse in the laundry room. Location not ideal, tucked way into the community, quite a drive off the freeway so took significant time to get to a grocery store. Lots of confusion at check out. Charged us extra for cleaning for basic things like sweeping kitchen floors.

Amazing family getaway

This property and home are amazing! Right off the lake and walkable to the ocean, althoughbwe drove since we had little ones with us. We stopped at the coffee/bakery (The Nest) to get pastries and coffee on the way. We also stopped at the little rv store on the way home to buy worms. The property had fishing gear, canoes, paddle boards, kayaks, life vests, bikes, sand toys, a volleyball court, ping pong, fuseball, pool table, outdoor play gym, pizza oven, hot tub and so much more! We took the kayaks out on the lake and walked to The Nest again the following day. Such a friendly neighborhood. We will be back! Such a relaxing and dreamy getaway that had so much for all ages!

This is an amazing home on the coast!

While our original plan was to have some friends join us, that didn't work out at the last minute. However, the two of us still had a fabulous time at this wonderful home. The home was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen very well stocked, and the outdoor amenities were amazing including the firepit. My husband fished from the dock, the kayaks were great on the lake, the view was lovely and we had an easy walk to the beach. The beach, at least during our July stay, was very lightly attended so our dog had a great time running along the beach and in the surf. Communication with owner was excellent. We loved our relaxing time here and will definitely plan to come back when we visit the coast again--perhaps next time with grandkids. They'd love the entire setup too, with swings, foosball, sand toys, and all the other options. A great home!

Stay and play at the house

We loved all there was to do at the house. We did do a few day trips which were very short travel from the house, it is centrally located between Astoria and Cannon Beach. We didn't have time to enjoy the hot tub or the sauna. The Kids had some much to do that they were in bed by 10 o'clock every night. We saw Bald Eagles right out the back of the lake and about ten deer wandered through the lake side feeding without a care in the world. We could have spent the entire time at the house. Everything you need for cooking is there just bring your own food, there are two full refrigerators and a full stand-up freezer. The freezer held six 20lbs bags of ice that we used on the day trip down and reused on the day trip back. The Super Walmart is 10 min away north toward Astoria if you forget anything. Bring house slippers as there is no shoes aloud in the house, you will understand when you see the beach and sand around the house. The house and yard are very beautiful and a walk to the beach late in the evening was very nice. two nights is not enough we are glad we added a night, and we are sorry we didn't add a another. Jon the host answered all our questions within a short time with a text the beach towels are in the bench sit next to the sliding glass door. Thank you, Jon, for the use of your lovely home.

Great Getaway!

This place was perfect! Great location on the lake with ocean access within walking distance (we also drove onto Sunset Beach with firewood for a beach fire). The fishing boat with the trolling motor and the suana were my saving grace. I had an unplanned surgery prior to our vacation and this allowed me to get on the water without overtaxing my abs and gave me something to do while others sat in the hot tub. Canoes and paddle boards were in great shape. The shed was stocked with bikes and fishing poles. We stocked up with groceries and cooked almost every meal onsite - the kitchen, dining area, and outside tables are perfect for family meals. Kitchen has everything you need! The fenced area was perfect for sand play. Loved making s’mores outside with the fire pit. There were 7 adults and 2 kids and 2 small dogs with our party. We did a quick walk through to baby proof - basically putting anything breakable out of reach; house already has outlet covers. We spent hours at the table top playing games. Quick trips into Seaside so kids could do some rides and go carts. We also found a great little adventure park in Seaside that has monitor golf, go carts, ice cream, rock mining, and rides. We got fresh seafood from Bouy Bell Fish Market and cooked it up at the house - delicious! Host was great and her responsive! Great place!

This place has everything!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lakefront property. There are so amenities there! The firepit, hot tub, boats, bicycles, floating dock, outdoor swing, outdoor kitchen and covered patio, horseshoe pit, sand “corral”, and playset for the kids. And then indoors, a tv in every room, sauna, game room with foosball and air hockey, and pool table and ping pong table in the garage. Also in a closet there were many games, books and toys. The kitchen was well-stocked. Every day we witnessed deer walking on the property and once saw a herd of elk crossing the lake! There is also a resident great blue heron and bald eagle. We didn’t catch any fish, then later noticed there are otters in the lake! My daughter tried walking to the beach, but ended up not going because she was uncomfortable going through someone else’s yard? But it was a short drive to a beach anyway. One thing I would mention, though: if someone needs a house with five bedrooms, this house actually has four. The fifth “bedroom” in the listing is actually a small game room with a futon. Also, the bunk beds are in the very large master bedroom, which was very nice, but if no one wants to sleep with children in the same room, this might be an issue. The other three bedrooms are very nice. There is one bathroom in the hall for the other three bedrooms. It’s the only one with a bathtub. The third bathroom is at the other end of the house next to the kitchen; it contains the sauna room. Great place, worth the price!
