Cozy Sunset Beach Cottage By Lake and Ocean, Peaceful Setting *Wi-Fi*

  • This house is in a perfect location. It is literally steps away from Lake Neacoxie. It is a short 1/4 mile walk to Sunset Beach. This beach is great because you can drive on beach is also know for it's amazing clamming season. So much fun for adults and the kids. Seaside is 8 miles down the road, or the other direction is Astoria, which has the best Saturday Market and amazing shopping.

    The house was built in 1940, and has been renovated. We have a family of 4, and usually bring another couple. It seems to be the perfect size. My family and I love going there to re plug into each other. It works every time!

    We love our home, and hope you get the same enjoyment from it as we do!

This was such a great place to stay! It was right down from the beach! It’s a nice cozy house to come home to after spending your days in Astoria or surrounding areas! Beds were comfy! Had everything we needed and even had some deer visitors while we were there! Definitely somewhere I would stay again if visiting this beautiful state and town!!

Perfect spot

Just a short stay in town for a softball tournament. Perfect location for us between seaside and astoria. Loved our stay at the house and paddle boarding on the lake. Hope we get a chance to stay again in the future!

Such a great place for our family! We love the convenience and space here. Such a great way to enjoy the coast. The lake and little playground nearby as well as easy access to the beach are wonderful. We’d definitely recommend staying here!

Great little cottage in an awesome location!

Stayed 3 nights at this property and we all loved it! Beds were comfortable, lots of space and house is well-stocked. Theres a little park down the road that my 9 year old played at. Beach acess was wonderful and just a short drive (could have walked but didnt) down the road. Would stay again!

House between the lake and ocean

Its a great place to stay especially if tou like to be around water like I do. Its close to everything and walking distance to the beach and lake. We loved being able to cook and do laundry. They had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

It was a cute little cottage house with two queen bed bedrooms, and one bedroom with several bunk beds. The kitchen space was nice and usable, with plenty of towels and dishes and spices. It was easy to cook food, and the beach and a cafe were a short walk away.

So cozy and cute!

We had such a relaxing stay here. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom is large! Most of all - I accidentally left behind a diamond necklace that the cleaning team secured and mailed back to me. We will be back!

Sunset Beach Cottage

Very lovely little cottage. I loved the organization and overall decor. Everyone was comfortable. There was a damaged back screen that needed repair but other than that no damage. I thought overall cleanliness good. The address was not on the cottage itself so it was difficult to locate by google maps. You need to locate it by the photo on the site.

Great location, so close to beach!

Cottage had everything we needed for a well deserved get away. Loved the location and we were very comfortable staying there. One exception was the pillows on the beds we used definitely need to be replaced. They are old&stained. Otherwise this was perfect!

Nice Stay

The place was easy to find and clean. It is very well stocked with any and everything you may need. The neighborhood was quiet and the beds were comfy. It does not have AC but a fan is there. The lock box is hars to open and close, that was the only thing we had trouble with. The owner gives great info and communications. We will say there again when in the area! Thanks for a nice stay! Large home near the beach

With three bedrooms and 6 total beds, there is plenty of space for everyone. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located near an awesome bakery. The house is stocked with everything you need (except there was no soap for the shower-bring your own). Everything was great from check in to check out, however, the Cadet heating units in the main living room didn't work. the bedrooms were fine, and we weren't in the house except to sleep, so it didn't matter much. We visited in Feb, so didn't access the beach..

Delightful Small House

It was easy to find, "check-in" and get settled in. Everything you need for a vacation is on property. There is a full kitchen in which my family cooked Christmas dinner. We were able to make do with the numerous pots, pans, and baking sheets. There is only one bathroom but as long as your family knows how to share it isn't a problem. Plenty of sleeping space for the three of us amongst the three rooms. There is a bookshelf in the big bedroom, and games in the closet. The cable and internet worked well.Better than all that, you are a block from a cute lake and a short drive (we walked it the first time) to the ocean. The walk wasn't bad if you are used to walking the distance. It's close enough to Fred Meyer's, Costco, and Wal-Mart to pick up anything you need. Overall, we would happily stay here again.

Awesome summer vacation

I traveled with 3 adult children and this house was near to perfect for our family's needs, we wanted something close to the beach and a lake for my youngest to fish. The bedrooms were nice, mine and my son's beds were very comfortable however my daughter and her boyfriend, who slept in the master said they didn't care for the mattress. I would recomend another fan or 2, the house gets kinda warm and there were not enough fans for all the bed rooms and living room. Very quite neighborhood just a 2 minute drive to the beautiful beach and super close to grocery stores, local shops and restraunts. The lake is about a block away and didn't look like it had much public access for fishing but we talked to the neighbor who lives right on the lake and she said it was fine for my son to fish there. We stayed up until about 2 am each night just playing the board games at the kitchen table. On our last day there my son fished all day while my daughter, her boyfriend and I hung out at the beach all day flighing kites. We even had a bonfire and watched the sunset right on the beach! Would definatley recommend this rental and also hope to stay here again.
