"Wallpaper falling of the walls, stains on the sheets and the staff were more interested in each other rather then the guests "

"The Siren is well-located, close to downtown Detroit shopping, entertainment and sporting venues. The Candy Bar serves great cocktails and Chenin Kitchen/bar is so popular it is difficult to get in, but borders on claustrophobic in size/circulation. Very nice breakfast and coffee bar and very helpful staff. Slightly dated boutique decor in bedrooms but very comfortable and clean bed and bathroom."

"Felt like I was staying in the Nakatomi Plaza, in the best way possible. Staff was friendly and helpful and courteous. Only hotel I would stay in if I ever found my way back to the city."

"Ceiling fan very dirt and dusty. Remote control for TV did not have batteries, had to keep switching back and forth with Roku remote. Sent message if a complaint about next door being very loud and screaming. Sounded like young adults having a hotel party. I never got a response and the noise didn’t stop until 4am. Every single time I went in and out there was people out side soliciting begging for money. No security, if it was I never saw them around. "

"Got off the road at 1am to check in a unfit room. Had to pee so bad got to the room the door was dirty, walk in the room wall was filthy! Run to the bathroom Both bathrooms was dirty neither bathroom floor hadnt been moped the shower bar so rusty just nasty. Tub was dirty. Went to clean it myself to take a shower. Then noticed the floor was dirty. Kitchen appliances burnt up and broken. Old couch room phone didnt work so i couldn't even call the front desk. I will never stay here again. They gave us a new room . Finally got some sleep at 3am. Then theres noone to complain to. "

"We had a reservation there for Friday. I had called and let him know it was going to be a late pull in. When we went and got there. They told us that unfortunately they gave our room away because they tried to call us. They did not make any other accommodations for us. Told us to have a good day. I will never recommend this place or these people. The staff was very unprofessional and very rude. We had a horrible weekend. I will never recommend this place ever to anyone and I hope they do something about the ladies that was in the lobby that just told us they gave our room away. No explanation, no other accommodations"
