My main complaint is that the Sugartree Inn is no longer a functioning inn, which I discovered upon arrival. This slanted my review comments toward the negative.

Located by a beautiful ski and golf resort, the Sugartree Inn is run and hosted by a welcoming and fun British couple. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed and feather bedding were to die for. The breakfast was generous and delicious. We loved everything about or stay here.

Our new favorite spot!
This is our new favorite Inn! The keepers were welcoming and relaxed while being professional and accommodating. The Inn was well organized, well stocked, and extremely comfortable (especially the beds!). The atmosphere was lovely, the breakfast was fabulous, and even their dinner recommendation was wonderful!

Maxine and Graham were incredibly gracious and welcoming. The breakfasts were fabulous and creative. We felt like family to the owners and were treated wonderfully. We will return.

Sugar(Tree Inn) and Spice and EVERYTHING Nice
Graham and Maxine were extremely accommodating, allowing us to check-in earlier as we were coming from over four hours away. The room we stayed in -- The Cardinal -- was immaculate and extremely comfortable. It was also nice to be greeted by Alfie, who was as calm and cool as his owners. Remember, this Inn is on a MOUNTAIN, so don't be turned off by the steep hills to get up to the location. Once there, Graham and Maxine do everything in their power to make you feel like you're at home -- a solid library, a good collection of DVDs and, if you don't have a laptop, they loan you a portable DVD player. Maxine is also a great cook! The scrambled eggs were fantastic, as was the french toast. If I ever needed to get back to Vermont and was in the area, I would do everything in my power to stay there again!

A clean and cozy B&B run by the most lovely couple in a beautiful town. DELICIOUS breakfast, convenient hot tub, comfortable beds/rooms. Great living room area as well. Couldn't have asked for anything more. 10/10 experience, will definitely return in the future!

One of the best B&B experiences!
We stayed at the Sugartree Inn this past weekend, and we couldn't be happier. We knew we would be arriving very late (after 1 a.m.), and we had no problems arranging a late check-in. The location was convenient to the Sugarbush ski area (you can even take a shuttle from the front of the inn, although we opted to drive our own car). We booked the Robin Room, and it was extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served at your choice of 7:30 or 8:30 a.m. each morning with several options to choose from, all of which were delicious. The common area was great with a toasty fireplace, cookies and pastries, and water, coffee, and tea available. Graham and Maxine (and Alfie the adorable dog) were excellent hosts. Highly recommend if you are looking for lodging in the area!

Like a cozy vacation in London. . . with skiing
This charming B&B is literally one minute from Sugarbush (and a Green Mountain Transit bus stops right at the inn and will take you to the slopes FOR FREE, so no parking hassles. It's VERMONT so the bus has racks for your skis of course). The rooms are comfortable, clean, and inviting. The dining room by itself is worth the trip, with its giant AGA stove cooking up amazing breakfasts, and scads of memorabilia (Beatles, HM Queen Elizabeth and her royal fam, soccer, golf, skiing etc.). So enjoyable, strongly recommend.

Great bed and breakfast! Super comfortable!
Very cozy rooms. The bedding and comforters are super comfortable. The owners were some of the nicest and most accommodating people we have ever met. They have the cutest dog. I also had some of the best eggs benedict our first morning there. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family looking for a Vermont experience

Great hosts, amazing place.
Maxine and Graham are wonderful , thoughtful hosts. The breakfast is delicious. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are warm (it dropped to single digits while we were there). Sugarbush is just 1/2 mile or less from there driveway. Cheers

Our new spot in Sugarbush ski country. Comfortable w/the best breakfast in a long while. Hot tub hit the spot after long, cold day. Interesting and accommodating hosts and mascot. The feather bedding was heavenly, but not if you're allergic.

Very nice B&B very close to Sugarbush resort. Amazing breakfast. Very nice and helpful owners. Everyday there was freshly cooked cookies or cake. On the coldest day, there was a hot carrot soup waiting for the frozen skiers, nice touch. Would definitely go back.

Maxine and Graham were so nice and welcoming. The place was warm and cozy. Aside from making us a delicious breakfast, Maxine also baked fresh scones every day. They were so delicious! Anything you needed, they were right there to help. I highly recommend it. I know that we will definitely be back :)
