"The location was very nice. Cute little town, the smell of delicious smoked fish in the air. Beds were very squeaky but okay to sleep in, TV did not work unfortunately due to bad WiFi (There was an event in town), as well as the TV remote missing completely, and reception not being able to help us.
Other than that, the stay for one night was okay with us!"
Modern Oceanfront Retreat: Private Beach & Unobstructed Strait Juan de Fuca!
10/10 Excellent
"This is a superb rental property, right on the beach near Neah Bay. The house has been recently totally remodeled: the design of the kitchen and the bathroom is thoughtfully done with excellent workmanship. The view out to the Strait of Juan de Fuca is amazing, the sound of the surf is really neat and the beach is only steps away from the house.
The kitchen is nicely modern, with dishwasher, and coffee makers of several types, Galanz refrigerator and microwave oven, both Robin-egg blue, an island for prepping food, dining nook with table seats 4 easily. There is also a modern LG washer and dryer.
The walk-in shower is especially nice with slightly rough tile, which is non-slip.
TV and internet are state of the art.
In spite of being near the highway, the house is very quiet, no road noise.
The owner was very responsive to questions etc.
the rental was a home-run for us!"
"Spectacular views of the bay. Beautiful wildlife. Clean comfortable very cozy place. It looks like the place is across the street. It is not that is the driveway. BETTER THAN THAN EXPECTED!!Best place we’ve stayed so far!!!!"
Walk to Beach: Creek-Front Sekiu Home w/ Fire Pit!
8/10 Good
"This house is great, especially with young children. Well equipped, laundry on site is a lifesaver, and close to points of interest around Neah Bay. Felt safe, was pretty quiet. Clean and no pests. Quick access to the beach as long as you don’t mind wading in a bit of cold water (about shin deep) and under the roadway- not a big deal. Things to note:there isn’t potable water. We didn’t know this until we arrived (an old review mentioned it and the property description led me to believe any water issues are temporary) but according to the included boil notice with the welcome info, it’s been going on for years. Keep that in mind when stocking up on your way. We needed bottled water to wash our produce, brushing teeth, drinking etc. it adds up. There are general stores around if you need things, but we found it was better to grocery shop in Forks or Port Angeles before arriving. Home is closer to Neah Bay than Sekiu- this can make a difference of a half hour drive time depending on your planned excursions. Since a lot of ours involved going south and west of Forks, we were in the car a lot more than initially planned. For spots around Neah Bay- great. The included passes were useful!Right next door is a large hotel. Seems closed, but if not, you’re on display when outside. Hotel camera seems to be pointing at the house which is uncomfy.Beautiful area, lots to see- but I recommend splitting your stay up if you plan to visit other areas of the peninsula multiple days."
"We loved our stay here. It was wonderful to look out the picture window, walk the beach, have a place for meals, etc. It was a great family vacation."
