It is a very grand hotel and we loved our big king room, overlooking the racecourse! We dinned in the restaurant, with the food being lovely! Fairly priced, good portions, and range of food on the menu! The hotel needs patronage - it is a diamond amongst many hotels to choose from. We will stay there again!

Those at the front desk weren’t very welcoming and talked among themselves while standing there being unacknowledged.
One of our biggest reasons for booking here was the heated swimming pool, however it wasn’t heated but very cold.
The coffee from barista in breakfast room was terrible and very expensive.
Car parking was across the street but poorly labelled so hard to find in the dark.
The room had very little amenities but beds were comfortable.
We would not stay here again.
