Our first night was a bit rough because there was a gale warning and the wind/water was a lot for these landlubbers, but once the weather settled down and the water was calm, we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the boat. "Stayed for one night while in town to see The Lost Colony. The property is a vintage motor lodge. So the rooms show some wear and tear but the room was clean. The AC worked amazingly (which was a plus for me). The room I had was a small room but as a single traveler they may have put me in a smaller room."

"Our first stay at the Holiday Inn express as a couple was a great overall experience experience. Staff were extremely accommodating and answered many questions about the surrounding area for great places to eat and attractions. The cleanliness of the rooms inside of the hotel was excellent, outside. Common areas were well kept and always clean and maintain. Staff during breakfast we always pleasant and very attentive, constantly replenishing all items for the buffet and cleaning constantly with a smile and a great conversation. The overall attentiveness, attitude from staff provided an excellent stay for me and my fiancé, but also for many families that we saw coming in and out of the property during our time there. With always choose to stay here again as a primary choice and kitty Hall."
