On the whole a very nice 3 day stay. Fantastic views over Pelican Bay. I couldn't sleep late in the mornings though because my room was right next to the breakfast to room. Everyone came trundling on the wooden balcony floor from 6 o' clock already. Hearty breakfast....

The view of the lagoon and flamingos was beautiful. The window glass was unfortunately not very clean, so views were slightly obscured. Value for money was good. Wifi access intermittent. Breakfast was excellent.

Rude management, bedding in a pile on the beds unmade, single bed duvet for two beds pushed togther .. refused to provide double bed duvet though they did provide a second single duvet, one single blanket and one towel. when questionned we were told its the onwers decisionn and the manager had lots of eperince so they were correct. it was explained that many customers complained about the beds then the followng mornign the opposite was told to us. Never again

Le STAFF nous a volé 1500$ namibiens…

L’établissement est de prime abord bien placé et avec une chambre convenable. Mais les chambres sont très mal isolés phonétiquement et après notre check in à 13h nous nous sommes absentés pour dîner et à notre retour 2h plus tard les femmes de chambres étaient passées dans notre chambre pour faire le lit et 1500$ namibiens avaient disparu de notre porte feuilles. Je n’ai jamais entendu que le staff entre dans une chambre pour faire le lit 2h après le check in alors que nous ne restions qu’une nuit… Un standard Namibien d’après le patron qui n’a fait aucun geste en notre faveur. Nous avons lu dans d’autres commentaires que certains se sont même fait voler des affaires rangés dans le coffre fort… Ne laissez rien de valeurs dans la chambre en votre absence!

Loved our stay the Oyster Box Guesthouse. It was convenient to locate and perfect for a quiet new year. The room was clean and bright! The only suggestion I have is to include a water kettle in the room to boil water for tea or coffee.

Amazing views with flamingos on your doorstep

Beautiful accommodation, amazing view and coveniently located. A coffee/tea station in the room would have made this a winner. I also missed a hairdryer and information details/book/brochure on the guesthouse and surroundings. Otherwise a beauty.

Lovely guest house overlooking the lagoon. Nice staff, secure parking, magnificent view of lagoon on mornings and evenings. Lots of birds - flamingos, pelicans, sand pipers, terns, gulls. Great terrace for enjoying the outdoors. But make sure you have at least partial sea-view room.
