"It's all about location, and this is a prime one! The unit itself was clean and a great size for the two of us. We like to cook on our trips, and the kitchen was a little sparse, but it was fine, and everything else was great. Hosts were very friendly and helpful (as was their dog - friendly, I mean). "We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"We very much enjoyed our week in the Alsace region of France. Jebsheim was a good base to explore the area and pop across to Germany. Hughes and Edith Peches are extremely welcoming and supplied us with delicious eggs from their chickens on site. The area is rural so good if you want to get away from it all. There is a restaurant nearby but being English we did miss a pub!"

Nice that Madame left a bottle of wine and gave us a typical Alsace cake😀. Great view of maize fields and the next village but no English language TV channel and the bed we both found hard. A light rug would have been appreciated as too hot for duvet on the bed but too cold at night for just a sheet. Spare kitchen tidy bags would...
