"The hotel, in general, was good. Clean, well maintained. The staff at check in and check out were pretty "mechanical". Very little interaction other than was necessary to conduct business. The desk staff is where the 'personality' of the facility is established. The ice machine (apparently, they had only one) had an out-of-order sign on it. I asked the desk clerk, "How can I get ice." She directed me to a gas station down the street! If the ice machine is out of order, why doesn't the hotel stock a small supply of bagged ice to provide to guests as needed rather than tell them to go out and deal with the hotel's problem??"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in this charming, comfortable historic hotel. Staff accommodated our early check-in request. Loved the location on Main St. with many walkable good food options, as well as shopping, the river, parks, and trails. The hotel vibe was very chill and relaxing. Breakfast was minimal, but enough for a nice start. Loved hanging out in the lobby, including with our drinks from the Winslow Bar, for which we used our $10 hotel coupon. We were well pleased the hotel met our expectations."

"Charming and cozy! There was enough space for five of us to be comfortable. The property is in a nice neighborhood and quiet setting. Check in and out was very simple and the host communicates well. Cell signal is pretty bad so the wifi is nice. Waverly is a beautiful little town."
