Historic Schoolhouse | Walk to Downtown Walla Walla

Once one of Walla Walla’s original schools, this turn-of-the-century property has been thoughtfully transformed into a charming duplex, with this private residence offering a comfortable retreat within easy walking distance of downtown Walla Walla.

Original hardwood floors, coved ceilings, and architectural details preserve the character of the historic building, while the remodeled interior provides all the comforts of home. A king bedroom and two queen bedrooms comfortably accommodate up to six guests, making Schoolhouse a great choice for couples, friends, or family traveling together.

Leave the car behind and walk downtown for tasting rooms, dinner, coffee, and shopping. After a day exploring Walla Walla, return to your private fenced backyard for an evening around the BBQ and dinner outdoors.

Schoolhouse is one side of a duplex with its own private entrance, living spaces, and fenced backyard. There are no shared interior spaces.

Historic character, a walkable downtown location, and room to settle in make Schoolhouse a uniquely Walla Walla place to stay.

HOUSE RULES

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-in is at 4:00 PM or later. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Early arrivals or late departures must be approved in advance and may include an additional fee.

GUESTS & OCCUPANCY

Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight, up to the property`s maximum occupancy.

Up to four additional daytime visitors are welcome, provided they follow all House Rules, including quiet hours and no events.

Parties, events, and large gatherings are not permitted.

QUIET HOURS

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of neighbors and surrounding properties at all times.

SMOKING

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the home. Guests may be responsible for additional cleaning or damage resulting from violations, subject to the policies of their booking platform.

PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS

Pets are permitted only in designated pet-friendly homes. A $100 pet fee covers up to two dogs. Additional dogs require prior approval and may be subject to an additional fee.

Service animals are accommodated in accordance with applicable law and booking platform policies.

Guests remain responsible for damage caused by animals during their stay.

ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE PROTECTION

Reservations may include accidental damage protection through Safely, providing up to $3,000 in coverage for eligible accidental damage.

Guests remain responsible for damage not covered by applicable protection, subject to the terms of their reservation and booking platform.

POOLS, HOT TUBS & OTHER AMENITIES

Please follow all posted safety rules and operating instructions for pools, hot tubs, fireplaces, BBQs, and other amenities.

Guests may be responsible for damage or additional servicing resulting from misuse, subject to the policies of their booking platform.

SEPTIC SYSTEMS

For homes on septic systems, only toilet paper may be flushed. Please do not flush wipes, paper towels, feminine products, or other materials that could damage the system.

SECURITY CAMERAS

Some homes utilize exterior security cameras at entry points for safety and security. All cameras are disclosed in the individual property listing. There are no cameras inside the home.

COMMERCIAL USE

Commercial photography, filming, events, or other commercial activities require prior approval.

BEFORE DEPARTURE

Please secure all windows and doors when leaving the property and ensure fireplaces, BBQs, and other equipment are safely turned off.
