Due to scheduling, we could only stay one night. If we had extra time, we would have loved to stay at this property. Exactly what we needed - quiet, clean and affordable. If you need several days to fully explore the Badlands area (you do), then this is THE place to stay !!!

The rental was very clean and the host was very responsive. The location was nice as well, right near the Badlands and Wall Drug (which was a lot of fun). I'd recommend this property.

The host was super responsive and we could easily walk to Wall Drug and dining. It was an extremely short drive to the Badlands, which is why we were visiting. Cute decor which emphasized the local culture. There appeared to be a basement living quarters below us (with a separate entrance) which was not disclosed ahead of time. If anyone was down there they were very quiet, but it we would have appreciated a heads up that there was a basement to the property.

Perfectly peaceful and best location

Our family had the best stay at Reno Gulch. Everything was clean, beautiful and better than expected. Comfortable beds and living space, extra little amenities inside and out, all modern and updated, helpful responsive host. Perfectly located between Hill City and Custer, we were a close drive to all the parks and attractions, right IN the hills with the most beautiful view- you really can’t beat it especially for those looking to be a little secluded. Off the main road but close to the hwys out. My favorite thing might have been watching the kids play every morning in the on-property Creek and collect pinecones and explore on the hill. Every night, after a busy day of hiking and adventuring, we got to come home to cook dinner and play games together in this cozy, comfortable “cabin” - and it was roomy enough for us each to get some alone time here there too. Thank you for the memories!!

The host was wonderful from the start to our last day. We really enjoyed our week stay, everything is provided except your food and drinks. We ate several times at the Red Rock Restaurant, food was good, love the fry bread tacos. We would love to stay here again when visiting the area...Much Thanks and Many Blessings :)

The location is great. Two blocks from all of the activity by Wall Drug. Clean, comfortable beds. Has a full size washer/dryer, which we didn't need on this visit, that could be very handy.
