Family Friendly Leech Lake Home On Three Level Acres Of Lakeshore

Enjoy our 2900 sq. ft. home located on Steamboat Bay of Leech Lake. This house has an amazing open kitchen/living/dining area overlooking the lake and front yard. Your lake view is an unobstructed southerly view of Steamboat and Walker Bay all the way south to the city of Walker. The home can comfortably accommodate 12+ people: on the main floor there is one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, one full bath, kitchen, living room, dining room, second living room, and a laundry room with a 3/4 bath. On the second floor there is two queen bedrooms and a king bedroom with single bunk beds. There is a full bathroom upstairs. The large open kitchen and center island area gives you plenty of room for preparing meals for big groups. The second living room with TV allows a nice area for guests to get away from the main living space. Beautiful deck located on the lakeside for enjoying coffee or the evening BBQ while absorbing the breathtaking views. The property is an amazing three acres of flat level ground with a front yard large enough for any summer activities. Perfect for a family vacation, family reunion, fishing trip, or wedding. There is 250 feet of shoreline and a harbor to keep your boat or the boat you rent safe while you are here but we do not have a beach/swimming area on our property as the lake bottom is soft with some weeds. There is a beautiful beach minutes away by boat or the public beach in town is 10 minutes by car. The paved driveway and parking area has ample room for all of your vehicles, trailers and toys. Located right on the paved Paul Bunyan bike/snowmobile trail gives you direct access to hundreds of miles of the best trail systems Minnesota has to offer. The property is easily located 1/4 mile off MN Hwy 371 giving you convenient access to Walker, Bemidji, or Itasca State Park. Only 8 miles south to beautiful downtown Walker.

Another wonderful holiday

Our stay was wonderful. The house is cozy and big. There was room for everyone to play a game, eat, enjoy the view(there were otters on the harbor), and cook. We worried that there was no snow, but ice fishing was good and we could ice skate on the lake. Thank you for a grand time!

Father's Day Weekend Getaway

This home was clean, cozy, and able to accommodate a large group of friends. The owner was responsive to our questions and needs. The home is located on Steamboat Bay, an area popular for bass fishing (fish the docks and grass). Note: Leech Lake is huge! If you’re here for walleye fishing, hire a professional. Other than that, you will need to bring 100% deed mosquito spray!

Fantastic for a family or a group

We loved our week at this property in August. The home was spacious and accommodated our group of adults and 2 toddlers well. We chose this listing because of the number of bedrooms, the beautiful yard, and the location on Leech Lake. We were blown away by the amount of comfortable living and storage space in the house (the pictures do not showcase how much space there actually is!) The playground was perfect for our kids. The proximity to Walker was great for quick trips into town. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us, we would definitely stay here again in any season!

We had a wonderful time. Our hosts are SO accommodating, and the house is always warm and clean.We played games, ice fished out in front of the house, snowmobiled, cross country skied, and sledded. The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s huge with so much room for activities. It comfortably slept 8 of us with room to spare. We were able to grill and play games in the back without a care in the world. Will definitely be booking again!
