Creek Cottage is a delightful 2 bedroom cottage with great facilities. It is easily accessible and right in the centre of town. The kitchen is reasonably stocked with crockery and cutlery and basic cookware. Bed is comfortable and linen is good quality.

Lovely cottage in the most beautiful setting. Communication was via email but instructions were very clear. We’re able to access property before 2pm which was much appreciated. Surrounding area was lovely with very picturesque walks and lovely heritage buildings. Would certainly recommend.

Nice but pricey
The location is lovely. The cottage itself and the surrounds are very nice but amenities are a little lacking. No TV, internet was not working although Ingrid did try to fix it. Little things like a breakfast hamper and a new kitchen sponge would improve the experience. Cutlery is a little lacking e.g. no fish slice or scissors. Torch did not work.

For a place to not have drinkable water and yet for that high rent there wasn’t a single bottle of water. Possums made noise on the roof all night. No place was open for dinner or breakfast in the whole town although the information provided said there will be the local pub. Below par.

Be careful
Book if you are visiting the town and wish to stay by yourself because the town is pretty and you will have the whole property to yourself. DON'T if you choose it as a stop over because the road to the town is winding and difficult to navigate. There is no car park at the property so you have to park on the main street. The tiny entrance gate is next to the lolly shop. Unless you ring the owner there is no way you can find it yourself. We booked for two nights. The fire alarm in the main bedroom started chirping on the second night. I rang and told the owner who thanked me for letting her know. Hmmmm... I didn't ring just to tell. I was asking for help because of the tall ceiling, one needs a ladder to touch the device. The owner knew it but they didn't want to come. Note it was 6.56pm and the owner live In the neighbouring town. They told us to use the broom stick to remove the bottom which was useless. So we were left to face the chirping alarm. We managed to stacked chairs and take the bottom half off. People say it is a self contained property, I wonder if this means you will be left helpless if anything is faulty on the property? We are totoally unhappy hence the long review lol but I tried to be objective as possible. The property is clean but dated. Anyway we have shared this with friends and families. Personally we will not come back to this place ever again.
