"A great location near downtown, shopping, the pedestrian zone, and the bike path along the Danube. Room were clean, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast offered cold and warm choices. Overall, a great experience."

"Check in and out was incredibly easy, and pleasant. I was greeted immediately upon arrival, and checked in, I was then given great maps and directions from the hotel to the Abbey and locations I wished to visit during my stay. It was all very lovely!"

"Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean. Buffet breakfast was nice however we generally arrived about 45 minutes before the end and some items were not available. There is a large carpark underneath with reasonable charges. The bar is open 24/7 which is nice should you need it. Close to a couple of nice restaurants and a short walk to the old town."

"Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt an der Donau. Geräumiges, perfekt ausgestattetes Ferienhaus, Garten, Pool, Sitzgelegenheit mit Blick zur Donau. Ruhige Lage, Heurige fußläufig zu erreichen, netter Winzer mit ausgezeichneten Weinen direkt gegenüber. Für Ausflüge in die gesamte Wachau ist die Lage perfekt. Sehr nette Kommunikation, alles hat reibungslos geklappt!Wir können das Ferienhaus hundertprozentig weiterempfehlen!"

"This stay in Durnstein was a perfect escape. The town is incredibly quaint and charming, and perfect for a quiet weekend away. The apartment was well situated, spacious and had everything we needed. It was a little tricky finding it, but after a quick stop at the Hotel Schloss reception, we were in and had a great stay"
