Wonderful Stay

We stayed here for a hunting/Thanksgiving trip with family. The house was in a great location, clean, cozy, and unique. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great location

We were in walden for our 1st snowmobile race of the season. We loved the space and cleanliness of the home perfect space for our family of five. We also loved that we could walk to town in minutes!

Location of home was walking distance to anything in town. We enjoyed our stay and home had plenty of room for everyone to have thier own space. Jeanette was responsive and helpful during the booking process.We will stay again!

Great spot on Walden!

It's a very nice home if you are staying in Walden for a few days or a week or a month. We liked the proximity to the main street for walking to dinner. The washer and dryer are newer and is an added bonus. Highly recommend this home for a stay in Walden.

SO Cozy!!

This beautifully restored home was so comfortable and accommodating. It had anything we would need and the owner was very easy to communicate with and got back to me quickly every time. I will be staying here again and recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Very special getaway

We have stayed many times in Walden, but this was the best accommodation by far. This historic house was attractive, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. We were just two, and a larger group would need to be flexible due to plenty of bed space but just one and a half baths and no dishwasher - but the advantages are many. We felt as though we were staying in a friend’s home while they were away. Easy walk to park, public indoor swimming pool, museum, restaurants. We would love to stay here again.

The house was is very quaint and decorated with the local spirit of the outdoors (very nice details!). It was comfortable and well stocked with all the essentials. The people from Stockman's were very friendly and helpful. We did have a family emergency during our stay and had to leave early. We will have to go back and try to view the wild life at North Michigan Reservoir near the Moose Center, off Hyw 41.
