Welcome to Comfy Bear! Your ski adventure begins at this beautiful ski in/out condo at Jackson Creek Summit at Snowriver Resort (formerly Indianhead Mtn)! Located a few steps from the Bear Creek double chair lift and a short 5 minute walk to the high-speed 6 person chairlift!! Walk to lodge, ski rentals, lift tickets, and pro shop. A short drive/shuttle ride to Black River Basin (formerly Blackjack), included in Snowriver lift ticket. About 10 miles down the road is Powderhorn Ski Resort.

Comfy Bear condo is completely renovated with beautiful finishes throughout. Living room has gas fireplace and smart TV. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dishes, dishwasher, fridge (apartment size), microwave, stove, coffee maker and Keurig. Essentials such as paper towels, aluminum foil, cling wrap, ziploc bags, etc are provided. The bedroom is furnished with a king size bed and smart TV. There is a fully remodeled bathroom.

The spiral staircase leads up to a shared loft space with 2 twin beds and 1 full bed, accommodating 4 guests. This space is perfect for the kids! There is a second full bathroom with shower upstairs. Both bathrooms have shampoo/conditioner, hair dryers, soap provided.

The unit has a keyless lock, a lockable ski closet, and wireless internet. You will love this cozy ski getaway to relax after a day on the slopes!

Michigan's U.P. is beautiful to visit year around - every season has adventure! Comfy Bear is a peaceful retreat and great base camp for exploring the area in summer and fall. There is waterfall chasing, endless hiking, biking, ATV trails, Lake Superior, Porcupine Mountain Area -the U.P. stays active no matter the season!
***please note for summer there is no A/C in the unit*** There are multiple fans to stay cool and temperature stays fairly moderate.

- this unit is not handicap accessible
- this unit is privately owned and therefore does not have access to use Snowriver Resort indoor pool facilities
- plenty of parking right outside the door
- stackable washer/dryer in the loft available for use (detergent provided)
- please note Bear Creek lift/trails (right next to condo) may not be running in early season (weather dependent)- snowmaking is focused first on high speed lift area
- please check www.snowriver.com for updates on hours, lift tickets, and trail conditions
- there is a shared entrance with lower unit condo, separated by flight of stairs

Wonderful place

This property was the best we have stayed in! Everything was so thought out for a family ski trip. The ski in/ski out was perfect. Plan to stay again when we are in the area!

Perfect family getaway

We were delighted with this property! Absolutely perfect for a family of 4. The location to the ski lift and walking trails was great! The house was spotless, great bathrooms, all the needed appliances and cookware- the owners thought of every detail!!

A ski vacation

Very deserving of a true 5 star rating. This condo was excellent! Very modern, beautifully remodeled, very well equipped, exceptionally clean, in a fantastic location right next to the ski lift. A perfect spot for a ski vacation.

Great location. Condo was better than listing description. Beds were great, kitchen well stocked, some goodies from the host were appreciated. Less than 100 feet from front door to where you click into your skis.

Perfect condo for our ski weekend

We had a great stay! The condo was very nicely and newly finished. Well stocked with kitchen supplies, games, coffee, and even a first aid kit. Plenty of space for our family of 5. The condo is right on Jackson Creek Summit and Snowriver Mountain Resort. We were able to ski-in/ski-out. Lots of space and hooks for our ski gear and clothes with a warm front hallway (not in pictures). Added bonus of glove warmer.Communication was great check in/out easy. I would recommend staying at this condo and we would definitely come back.

Great two day stay in the UP

Beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean! Beds were comfortable. At first, stairway to the front door was tricky, but learned how to maneuver (i have some neuropathy in my legs). Keyless entry was a breeze! Anna was easy to reach with questions. Only suggestion would be to provide clearer instructions once you reach The Lodge. The unit is hidden from the main road. Had to stop and ask someone at the lodge how to find the unit.
