Small historical town, good base to explore the area, good food options.

This is an old pub, the owners are fixing up rooms and renting them. They were friendly, but this is not a regular hotel. We were there on New Years Eve, and there was a DJ and loud party until well into the new year. Room was small, with no shower. We had a toilet, but had to go out into hallway ...

Rooms Were quiet and cool. We had bumpy ride and long layover at Auckland we were able to book and get my sick friend some much needed rest on our 24 hour fly day. Staff were super friendly

It was nice and clean the sheets were amazing to sleep under, views were great we saw dragon dancing over by the park in of the days. The staff could not be more helpful anything we asked they were ACE

Lovely little township the bakery by the flight centre has excellent pies
