"What a spot! Undisturbed view of Ōhiwa Harbour; quiet and private with bush clad surrounds and its own glow worms and weka! Well presented large caravan with solid cover for protection; comfortable queen bed and covered deck for enjoying your surrounds. Lovely hostess. A delight!"

"Motel was new. Room was very clean and was stylish. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was equipped with kettle, microwave, mugs, crockery and cutlery. Parking adjacent to the room. A short walk to restaurants and the centre of Whakatane. Wifi fast. I didn't try the TV which had lots of channels. A table to work from. Aircon. Bed large and comfortable. Everything was there. Excellent. "
