Nice place. New and clean facility. A little noisy at times into the early morning hours. Walls and floors a little thin. Some people decided it would be a good idea to have a little party in the parking lot. No one around to manage that.

Simple and perfect for what we needed

Our stay here was just what we needed for the night. A safe, clean place to sleep over night. The front desk clerk (didn’t get her name but she was from Alabama) was so pleasant and welcoming.

a weekend in Waco

Woodspring Suites South Waco is conveniently located near I-35 but far enough away that interstate noise is not as issue. It still has that new hotel look and feel. The price was right and the amenities were good. The television channel selection was generous. I liked the storage set-up with the combination of hanger space, open shelves, and drawers.

Pretty new

This is a pretty new property. The rooms with a queen bed are good size with refrigerator and small kitchenette. This place is good for someone wanting to spend a night or two. The bed is somewhat comfortable.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. However, will not stay there again simply because they do not have coffee makers in the rooms. For a $125 (tax included), they should have coffee makers in the rooms!

The customer service was great. The bathroom didn’t have any towels nor soap in it. There was no mirror nor iron nor ironing board in the room. The lady at the front desk had to put clean sheets on my bed and she did it with a smile and was very apologetic. The staff was very nice and polite, but the room was lacking some things. The website said breakfast but there was no breakfast.

One night stay

Hotel was clean. Really secured. Had to use room card to get in to hallways areas. We liked the security feeling. We had a queen size room with roll in shower. It is bare minimum. Has kitchenette but no dishes, papertowels, etc. Bed was comfortable. Didn't care for fat, fluffy pillows. Forgot to bring my own hard pillow. Blankets were thin. I prefer the weight of heavy blankets. They don't serve breakfast. But Black Bear Diner is just around the corner and very good.

Queen subbed for a King booking

I booked a king non smoking and was given a queen room. I was informed there were no kings available. Also the floor did not appear to have been swept before we arrived but the rest of the room was clean and nicely done. Price charged was higher than my booking showed.
