  • The Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas is a terrific zoo! The zoo has a great range of animals and exhibits and the grounds are well kept and spacious. There's lots of shade to keep you somewhat cool during those hot Texan summer months if you visit during that time frame. The animal enclosures are nice, and can really give you great views of the animals themselves if you are a bit patient. This also makes for great photo views, as shown here with this photo of an approaching jaguar. Food and snack prices are also very reasonable, as are prices for souvenirs. This zoo makes for a great day out for the family.

30th Anniversary Trip

We absolutely loved our stay! The container home is beautiful and well decorated. Very close to most of the major attractions. Would definitely recommend staying here while in Waco!

We had an amazing stay and it was a great fun experience staying in a tiny home! We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Waco.

There was a definite communication breakdown with Vrbo and the host - I had to reach out to the host directly. I was under the impression there was a pickleball court on the property and only after seeing there was not and doing more research I found out it was at a different location and while doing the research I saw the pricing was 1/2 of what I paid. While looking for the remote or instructions on the cooling unit the white storage box in front of the couch has never been moved to be cleaned behind and all the old dog bones there and old candles didn’t leave a good impression due to I am highly allergic to pet dander, and the pricing considerably different.

Great weekend getaway

I went by myself for a 1 night escape and it was perfect, I want to come back and bring my family, would comfortably fit the three of us. It is is a small grouping of container homes, which was reassuring to not be isolated. Pay attention to the directions because I definitely passed it the first time. Overall wonderful and super easy to communicate with the host/manager.
