    THE HAVEN DESCRIPTION
    Make yourself at home at The Haven at Chapel Ridge, a freshly remodeled, stylishly furnished 2 Br/2Ba home on quiet tree-lined street off Chapel Road in Waco, Texas. This charming cottage-style home has an open, airy feel. The home has a spacious primary suite (13'x17') with walk-in closet. The second bedroom has both full and twin beds. There's also a roll-away twin bed tucked away in a closet if needed. With 20 (yes, 20) pillows in the home, you’re sure to find one perfect for you!

    Enjoy an extremely well-stocked kitchen with adjacent laundry. Feel free to make yourself comfortable with outdoor seating, gas BBQ grill, and fully fenced yard. The backyard also has two comfy seating areas, complete with café lights and a fire table.

    This guest house is perfect for a quick getaway to enjoy a Baylor event, sightseeing Fixer Upper fans, and families wanting to relax.

    When not out and about enjoying all Waco has to offer, relax in front of a 50-inch smart HDTV w/Roku for all your favorite streaming, play a board game, or have fun with the Wii gaming system. The kitchen is well-equipped, including a Wolfgang Puck indoor grill, crockpot, and even one of those hotel waffle makers! The Haven is stocked with waffle mix, butter, and syrup to start your day off right! You'll also be greeted with a variety of snacks upon arrival and a special surprise or two. The primary bedroom is equipped with a high quality mattress, a variety of pillow options, and a soundscapes sleep therapy alarm clock to help you get a restful night’s sleep.

    50% refund with cancellation more than 7 days of stay

    No pet fee WITH approval! (Dogs and/or small animals in crates permitted. For allergy reasons, no cats.) The backyard is fully fenced.

The Perfect Place to stay near Waco

Best stay EVER!!!

Lori was an amazing host! The property was soooo clean, beautiful, quiet, close to everything, and suited our needs for sure!!! I have stayed in many a VRBO, but this place was by far the best!!! We cannot wait to book with Lori again! Oh and she had peach cobbler and ice cream made for us too, and it was delicious!!!

Cozy family house!!

Lori was a great host, and ensured we had a very comfortable stay with good communication and a delicious peach cobbler!! Lori’s home is VERY cozy, we slept great all nights, the house is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We look forward to staying at Haven house again!

The Haven was GREAT!

This property was very clean, very well-stocked, and the A/C was ice cold. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood near plenty of restaurants. The owner left us a peach cobbler (YUM). We loved it!

Waco home away from home

We have stayed at the Haven numerous times over the years. It is our go to home in Waco. The owner is very responsive and friendly. The neighborhood is quiet and it is not far from Waco attractions. We will continue to stay at this home.

Great stay to enjoy Silobration

Lori’s a very generous hostess. Her Haven home is very comfortable and decorated adorably. She stocked the kitchen with waters, snacks and breakfast. She was easy to reach before and after our stay. I would highly recommend staying here and we would return for sure.

Family time

We came to Waco for a graduation and family reunion. The Haven provided us a place to relax and enjoy our visit. We had everything we needed and our pet loved the yard. Cute place! I highly recommend it!

House was very clean and had every thing we needed and then some! King bed was very comfortable and had no problem getting a good nights sleep. Massage chair and a sweet treat was a nice surprise after a long drive! Would definitely rent again!

Best VRBO in Waco

This was our second stay. It is a fabulous, clean, nicely decorated home. I've stayed at many VRBO s and this is on my top list. Host left us brownies, ice cream and a basket of snacks! Location is perfect. The gazebo area in back was so cool to relax in. I highly recommend this property you won't be disappointed

No better place to stay

There are not enough adjectives to adequately describe the hostess or the property. This experience far exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was stocked with extra foods to enjoy, a fresh platter of brownies upon our arrival, and ice cream in the freezer. We felt welcomed and safe our entire stay.

Rainy homecoming weekend

Fenced yard and quiet neighborhood for walking our dog. Lovely outside area that we didn’t get to enjoy much because it rained! Close to restaurants. Many nice touches in the house, and the host is very responsive.

Charming House

Lori was such a wonderful communicator. She made check-in and check-out a breeze! The house was decorated like a charming cottage. There was a fresh peach cobbler and ice cream as well as some other treats. Overall this is a wonderful place to stay in Waco! Not far of a drive to the silos and other attractions! If we visit Waco again this is where we will be staying!

Overall great!

The house was warm, inviting, and spacious. The host was gracious and kind by leaving us thoughtful notes and a homemade dessert!! Additionally, the host left a neat “take one” bookshelf in the master bedroom closet, it was a pleasant surprise! Overall a great experience, will book again the next time we’re in Waco.

Baylor 50th Reunion

Three lifelong friends who met at Baylor when freshmen in 1970 came together for our 50th reunion. The Haven provided us a very comfortable place to gather to celebrate and reminisce. The location in the Woodway area was convenient to many major roads in & out of Waco. Plenty of restaurants were nearby to make it easy to plan dinners. The neighborhood was quiet and the house simply & pleasantly appointed. The perfect spot for our reunion group!

Perfectly Cozy

Everything was incredibly cozy! Lori provided several snacks and refreshments, including a peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream. The fully fenced in backyard was perfect for throwing the ball to our pup. The entire home was just lovely! This was the perfect weekend getaway - close to Baylor, downtown, and shopping.
