  • The Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas is a terrific zoo! The zoo has a great range of animals and exhibits and the grounds are well kept and spacious. There's lots of shade to keep you somewhat cool during those hot Texan summer months if you visit during that time frame. The animal enclosures are nice, and can really give you great views of the animals themselves if you are a bit patient. This also makes for great photo views, as shown here with this photo of an approaching jaguar. Food and snack prices are also very reasonable, as are prices for souvenirs. This zoo makes for a great day out for the family.

First the hostess was wonderful. The house was great. It was too hot for outside but would definitely go back to take advantage of the outdoor area, hammock and swing set. Felt like home. Beds were super comfortable. Located central to all things Waco. Wish I could give more stars.

Good for the price!

The location is great for the zoo and to downtown! We were able to hear the wedding venue at night, clearly. I loved the decor and they did a great job making the house feel like a well loved home. However, the house is literally leaning. Cracks in the walls and ceiling were visible. I never felt unsafe, but it was a bit unnerving. I loved the backyard and sitting area- we didn’t get to use it but if the weather was nicer, we’d be back there!
