My husband and I had a wonderful time at the cabin! The hosts were so helpful and hospitable, and the cabin is beautiful and in a good location. We can’t wait to come back!
This was a perfect place to stay for our visit to Waco. Beautifully decorated and has all the amenities that we needed. Well stocked in the bathroom and kitchen. Will definitely be returning one day!
My mom and I had a girls trip to Waco and loved this little Dutch cabin! It was clean, private, a quiet location, and the host was very responsive when we had questions! I’d recommend this property to anyone!
Property manager was quick to response with any questions I had. The cabin itself was very clean and modern. I would definitely stay here again with my family.
Great location. Just a short walk to the best waffle place ever! Make reservations to the Homestead Cafe. We didn’t and missed that experience. We were also too late to go to the basket place and quilt shop. These are all close to the Dutch House. The house is so cozy and clean. Everything we needed and more. Plan to stay again.

We had a great time & the house was exactly as described. The only thing I can think of that might be nice to have there is a few board games 🙂
Great place!
We were looking for a quiet place to get away for the weekend and this was perfect. The house was clean and beautifully decorated and had everything we could need and more. We had a nice time exploring Homestead Heritage right nextdoor and where we bought fresh bread and snacks for our stay. The property managers were very accessible and I knew if we needed anything (we didn’t) they respond right away. Highly recommend and I’ll be booking again.
This tiny home completely blew us away! Don’t let the “tiny” label fool you—this space felt more like a high-end hotel suite tucked into a peaceful village. We were only here for two nights, but it was the perfect blend of comfort, space, and style. The living room was full-sized and perfect for relaxing. The dining area sat six comfortably, which is rare even in full-sized rentals! The kitchenette was thoughtfully equipped, and the bathroom—wow. Huge walk-in shower, deep soaker tub, double vanity… it felt like a spa.The bedroom was also spacious, with a plush king-size bed that made it hard to get up in the morning. Every detail was carefully considered, and the entire home was spotless and serene. The hosts were responsive and friendly, making check-in and communication a breeze. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with luxury vibes in a small footprint, this is it. We’ll absolutely be back!
We loved our stay! The house was so well appointed, comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend. The adjacent community is amazing. Coffee shop, cheese cave, cafe, crafts— so much to see and explore. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re visiting Waco!
We loved the Little Dutch Cabin #101-12. It is exactly as pictured on the site and very nice on the inside. My husband and I took a long Labor Day weekend to relax and enjoy the Waco area. This property is part of the Homestead Heritage properties located a few miles outside the heart of Waco and has several tiny homes on the property. If you have a large group you have several options for multiple dwellings. We ate at the Homestead Cafe every night. There are not a lot of great restaurants in Waco and this one is outstanding with fresh home cooked food and excellent service. The steak was perfection! We really enjoyed the Homestead Village so check that out if you have time, they have some fun activities for kids like making your own pottery, weaving, etc. This is not a complaint but just information for light sleepers that you may want to ask the owners about staying away from the highway. The cottages are right off the highway. We can sleep thru anything so the road noise did not bother us at all. The hosts were outstanding checking in with us regularly to see if we needed anything. Bathtub is amazing and the king bed was very comfortable.
We enjoyed staying here. It was as expected. The king bed has a soft mattress topper. The sofa bed felt "springy". There is a blow-up mattress available but we didn't use it. I was a little disappointed that we could hear the traffic as the property is right next to a busy road.
There are 3 of these cabins on the property and about 5 or 6 container tiny homes.
Easy process
The host was always in communication with me
It’s also nestled off in a nice quiet country setting
Great for getaways for relaxation
Very clean and well accommodating
Will definitely be visiting soon again!!!!
Upon entering the cabin we noticed how fresh and clean it was. The online pictures match the actual cabin. The bathroom is a great size, there is plenty of room to move around. The bathtub was awesome, it even fit my 6 foot tall husband. There were many additives we didn't expect like makeup towels, shaving kits, and tooth brushes. My husband forgot all these essentials and it was a relief that they provided them for us!
The owner and the property manager were always in touch to make sure we had what we needed and that we arrived safely. The area is in the country side which is nice and quiet, but close enough to get where you want to go. There was even a nice café and restaurant at the Homestead Heritage within walking distance.
We will be coming here again for our next weekend trip to Waco!
The property is as described and as the pictures show. Just the perfect size and we enjoyed sitting outside. It is close to the Silos but far enough away to have a nice quite place to relax.
I enjoy the Heritage Village more than the Silos, and it’s in walking distance from the cottage.
Amanda kept in touch with us but we had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay!
Checking in was easy. I was able to contact the property manager easily. The cabin is well decorated and cozy. The bed was comfortable. We slept well. Everything was well stocked; plates, utensils, cups, towels, cloths, blankets, pillows, etc.
Our only complaint was the late night construction going on at Homestead. It was hard to fall asleep while they worked until 1 am.
Otherwise, it was a great stay!
The property looks just as amazing in person as it does in the pictures. It's about 15 minutes to everywhere in Waco. The area is withing walking distance of the Homestead village/shops and cheese shop.
The house is stocked with anything you would need.
