  • The Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas is a terrific zoo! The zoo has a great range of animals and exhibits and the grounds are well kept and spacious. There's lots of shade to keep you somewhat cool during those hot Texan summer months if you visit during that time frame. The animal enclosures are nice, and can really give you great views of the animals themselves if you are a bit patient. This also makes for great photo views, as shown here with this photo of an approaching jaguar. Food and snack prices are also very reasonable, as are prices for souvenirs. This zoo makes for a great day out for the family.

Comfy and great central location

Comfy place and great central location. The place was very comfortable and had a great little room upstairs for kids to hang out. Linens, towels, etc. were all clean. Coffee maker was nice and in great shape with some coffee provided (K-cups). All in all a good location and pleasant stay.

Wonderful property

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this precious house in Waco. Everything was provided including white linens, kitchen amenities and games. The location is perfect for enjoying a visit to the Silos! We will be back!

We had an amazing time at Haven House. It was located so perfectly for our situation Magnolia market Hotel 1928 and in between Dallas and Austin the house is amazingly set up.. great communication with the owners. It couldn’t have been a better trip for us Floridians.!!! thank you!!!

We loved the home! It was the perfect space! The location was great being just a few miles from so many things! We went to the Silos, the Texas Ranger Museum, and ate at a lot of great places! The house had every amenity we needed!

Silo visit

This property was beautiful, exactly as shown. While driving up, I was a bit concerned about the location but it ended up being great. The road out front was busy, but noise in the house wasn’t bad at all. We had a nice time staying there and the pack and play, high chair and sound machines were great extras.

Wonderful home away from home!

Chip and Joanna Gaines would be pleased with this adorable and spacious 3-bedroom home. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. I loved that the owners thought of all the details and offered sound machines in each bedroom, plenty of paper towels, night lights in the bathrooms, and a welcome box of the most delicious cookies! I'd definitely recommend this property and would stay here again. The home was clean and comfortable and we felt safe.

We absolutely loved this home. It was the perfect place for us to stay and enjoy some family time. We loved the decor, the little details, the layout and the location. Wonderful home!! Super nice and very comfortable home. Decor is super cute too. Plenty of room and wonderful kitchen and dining area to visit in, have a meal, just gather. Wonderful Weekend

We enjoyed our family weekend and stay at Haven House! It is a beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed home. We appreciated the central location for exploring Waco. Cozy and First Class Accommodations!!!

My husband and I and my 93 year old mother stayed for the weekend while attending a wedding. Was perfect for her to stay on the master bedroom on the 1st floor. The beds were absolutely perfect! I’m a bed snob and a comfortable bed is a must and it met every one of my requirement. You’d have thought Joanna Gaines decorated this property (maybe she did) Really a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ property!

Last Minute Rescue and Haven

I scrambled to find a place for Christmas as our traditional setting was suddenly unavailable. Robin, the manager/owner, was extremely communicative when I inquired about staying. No question was too dumb. For instance, "Is there a crockpot?" Yes, there was! We planned multiple meals for 7 people for our 3 night stay. The accommodations are so tasteful. We had modern security measures that made us feel extremely safe.The parking is extravagant. So many spaces, near and far, on a private lot. Great beds. We had access to a Smart TV where we played Jackbox.tv into the night. Washer and dryer helped us do laundry before our trips home. Labels on every drawer made finding items easily. Heat and AC worked flawlessly for the crazy variety of weather. We even had a decorated Christmas tree for our festive stay. The Princess Bride theme was creative and one of our favorite movies, too! This place was all kinds of perfect, including the price. We are fans. We highly recommend.
