"The best part of the location is that the entire property is in it's natural state. The retreat blends in with the surrounding landscape. Why anyone would cut down the trees, fill in the swamp land to build a seawall, then build a giant house and have a yard to mow is beyond me. Kudos to the owner for respecting what makes the place a beautiful place to stay."

"John was super easy to work with and answered all questions quickly. The house was clean and quiet. We were there for graduation at FSU so did not get to enjoy the river or the area but would love to go back. We did go to Trident Restaurant in Panacea per his suggestion and it was awesome. "One of the things I love best about the owners/operators of this property is that they don’t give the guest a chore at checkout. It was actually my first experience like that with VRBO, and it made an already great stay feel like the cherry on top that we didn’t have to strip beds or take out the garbage, etc. It’s a perfect quiet spot in otherwise not-so-quiet college town, but you’re also close to everything you need to get to. We didn’t have lights or hot water in our room, but it was still a great experience. The staff was very caring and professional.
