"It was a pleasure staying at the Watchapreague Inn. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area, it’s right on the water, with a beautiful park with gazebo across the street, as well as a top rated seafood restaurant. The bed was stiff, and the staff actually brought me a foam mattress topper! My husband loved his stiff bed. Great little gift shop with a wide selection of t-shirts and gifts, free breakfast, very good coffee, free bicycles and kayaks too. I highly recommend this place! It’s not the fanciest or newest, but you can’t beat all the extras for the price. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Artist Apartment! The space is beautifully designed with plenty of room inside, and the outdoors space is just as nice! Between the two decks, the screened porch connecting them and the backyard with its magical lighting, there was always a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the ambiance. We especially appreciated how much space there was for everyone to spread out and have their own quiet moments. The location was perfect, right on main street within walking distance to the corner market, marinas, local restaurant and even the art studio downstairs. My brother and I grew up in wachapreague, and it was so meaningful to come back and make new memories with both of our families. We spent two beautiful days exploring Cedar Island, collecting shells and soaking in the natural beauty of such a special hidden gem. On top of it all, the owners were so kind and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this home and plan to make this an annual tradition for our family!"
