"Property was easy to find and Host (and wife) were friendly and extremely prompt with communication. Kitchen was well equipped, convenient to grocery stores, fuel, restaurants, etc. It was perfect for our family. I found the bathroom showers perfect for anyone physically challenged. The third bedroom is upstairs using the entire 2nd floor inclusive with second bathroom. Loved the openness of the floor plan as well as its decor. Can’t go wrong with this choice for your stay near Lake Hollingsworth. Close by and within walking distance are tennis courts, golf and even a park for kids to enjoy. LOVED this place and location! You will too. "

"What a beautiful home with a gorgeous view!!! Everything was fully equipped, anything we needed was just a click couple minutes away or easy to snag on delivery apps. Great neighborhood, we felt incredible safe as a third shift working family new to the Lakeland area trying to figure everything out. The host was incredibly accommodating as well as kind, asy to reach, understanding, and went above and beyond. We have family coming to the area in February and we plan to recommend the same host. It wad amazing to know we could trust the location to be clean, well maintained, and have no issues. We extra appreciated the washer and dryer on sight, all the extras from hand sanitizer to tissues to soap and cleaning supplies, truly they are prepared for anything and any one! Excellent host, amazing home, great housekeeping, and delightful stay close to everything and everyone. It was a delight to sit at the kitchen table and watch fireworks from the local college ball game or for my son-a teen photographer-to get up at 5am and capture gorgeous sunset photos, or the 3am cactus bloom, such amazing memories in a short time. Thank you to the host for sharing this beautiful home. I wish we could add more than 8 photos, we have hubdreds of amazing memories. "

"Odd combo of a few positives mixed w/negatives. Positives- check-in was easy & the house has very comfortable beds. The downfall of this property begins w/the neighborhood. Not the best area. The front window of the home does not lock. There is no vent fan in the bathroom, so you have to open the window when you shower. The bathroom, kitchen & 1 bedroom window look into the portion of the property that is a separate rental. Uncomfortable to have an open window when strangers are sitting outside the window. Oddly few towels provided. The 1st day we couldn’t find the towels. Messaged the owner who insisted they left towels on each bed. We eventually found 1 towel in each closet & 2 washcloths in a box in the laundry room. On our 3rd day, I was showering when the maintenance crew came to the house wanting photos to prove towels were there. They walked in on me while I was showering & tried to take photos. My husband had to remove them from the bathroom. The owner did apologize, however this is unacceptable behavior. They did at least leave us more towels. The photos of this home are deceptive. The home is older & has been updated in a sloppy way. Parts of it were clean while other parts were not. The backyard feels like a crime scene and is not a relaxing place to hang out. Overall, a difficult one to rate. Owner was nice enough but for the we paid, not worth it and the maintenance crew probably needs to be replaced. "
