Great location. The rooms are nothing fancy but clean and comfortable with a small balcony to enjoy mountain air. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. The cable car is a short walk away. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Easy, free parking.

Refurbished 1970-1980 era building. Rooms are a bit cramped but clean and comfortable. Second week of May is off season, so few guests and few services available. Very good breakfast provided.

Nice hotel close to ski slopes

Nice hotel in very good location if you using public transport. 5min from train station and ski slopes. Great choice of restaurants around. Breakfast was good for the price, just a shame that they don't have restaurant for the evening meal. Very nice and helpful staff, helped us to get a taxi to airport for 6 people.

That hotel checks all boxes for me. You do not need a car. You are walking distance to the slope, the train station, everything. Awesome views, excellent breakfast buffet, amazing service. Everything was 10 out of 10. Definitely coming back.

Family weekend

Cozy place for a weekend away or a family trip. Nothing extraordinary and special. Rooms are clean and warm. I had a feeling that mattress, pillows, blankets and sheets were new. The staff is absolutely wonderful! The only disadvantage that there is no restaurant or bar within the facility and on a rainy day you need to look around for a place to have dinner. However, super delicious restaurants are 5-10 min walk from the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay!

I recently stayed at a hotel and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The hotel was impressively clean, which immediately put me at ease during these times. The convenience factor was off the charts – not only was it close to both the cable car leading to the stunning mountain views, but it was also conveniently located near the railway station. It truly offered value for money compared to the quite pricey hotels in the vicinity. I was recommended a restaurant that belongs to the same hotel group, and I received a discount. It was also really enjoyable. Thank you and we will come back again.

Standard double room advertised as much bigger, see photos e.g. with armchair and desk space. In reality, there is no armchair and desk available, apart from of the TV's, so the room is definitely smaller, e.g. the one you see under twin bed room. Some of the spaces will need some improvement in the next few years, but still a 4/5. Apart from this, I am very satisfied, clean, silent, and well equipped spaces, great kitchen ( food quality), the Wellness suit is AMAZING. And the Staff is brilliant, caring and helpful. The location of the hotel is totally perfect, 2-3mins to the train and bus stations, the food store and literally on the way to the cable cars/ ski lifts from the station. I also recommend the Tourism Centre (Tourinform) in front of the hotel and the Norwegian sports equipment store next to the hotel. The stay left me with memories I will cherish for a lifetime and thanks for the Aplend's Staff for this.

Pro: - freundliches Personal - gutes Frühstück - gute Lage Contra: - Zimmer wurde während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. Lediglich die Mülleimer wurden geleert - Zimmer sehr klein und extrem hellhörig - WLAN vorhanden aber sehr langsam - Parkplatz ist zwar Kostenlos aber in einem schlechten Zustand Würde mich bei einem zukünftigen Aufenthalt für ein anderes Hotel entscheiden.
