"From the moment we walked through the door the staff were friendly, attentive and warm. Hotel was spotless, rooms comfortable and cosy. We were upgraded which was a lovely start to our 3 night stay. I couldn't fault the hotel and it's staff, unfortunately we needed to use the hotels complimentary umbrellas as the weather was not playing the game for a day. We had breakfast one morning, great variety and well presented. I think the cost was slightly high but perhaps would be lower if booked in advance? Location is great, a few minutes walk to the main square. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Brugges."

"I really enjoyed our stay in this characterful hotel which was very well located in the city of Bruges. You’ll need to pre book parking, and it is a few minutes walk away from the hotel. Staff and service were very good and attentive. Our room was in a building across from the main hotel and was a great size, the bathroom was huge!! My only disappointments were a) very thin and small towels b) large, unsightly and noisy fridge in the bedroom which we had to unplug at night and c) no USB sockets for charging phones/tablets. The bar room is beautiful for a drink before heading out for dinner. Breakfast is excellent, what a fantastic choice! We travelled with our dog, and felt very welcome with him. For breakfast, we had a table set up in the bar room which opens up into the breakfast room so we felt like we had our own private dining room!! It’s a great place to stay - if the room ‘niggles’ were sorted I’d give it 5*."
