Hi Laura, thanks for sharing your experience with us! I'm so glad to hear you found the shuttle useful, it can also save a lot of money (and trouble) not needing to get taxis around town. And as you point out, the location is quite ideal since you can retreat to our place when you want peace and quiet, while there are lots of great restaurants nearby. It's part of life in this country, We (along with the whole city) are in a struggle with the power company to keep the voltage regulated, since they allow it to fluctuate which cuts off equipment and also the AirCon. Dear Justin, on behalf of everyone here I would like to share my true apologies that your visit didn't meet your expectations. Such an experience as you had is so rare for us! Our positive reviews come because we take your satisfaction very seriously, and it's really such a shame we weren't able to find out about any of the issues you were having while you were here, because if we had known it would have absolutely been made right with you before leaving. As the owner here, on the night you checked in I did personally send you a chat message after you arrived to your room (asking if everything was alright and to please let us know what any issues you have might be), and it's very regrettable you were not able to reply, because then we could have prevented this. We firmly agree, your time is valuable and time away from home is special - and our guest should not have a bad experience. I want you to know under no circumstance do we ever allow an unhappy guest to leave unsatisfied (if they are so kind as to let us know of any issues before leaving). Regarding your feedback, rest assured we follow up each issue with importance and priority, especially since your experience was so rare for us! The waterfall repair work you comment on (construction) is complete and I'm very sorry the waterfall was not turned on during your visit. I agree the garden waterfall isn't beautiful when it's being repaired. Thank you for letting us know the beef was not cooked enough, actually beef in Vietnamese style breakfast is traditionally rare however it's a good idea to make this point especially clear for our guests when ordering, to avoid any misunderstandings in the future, and thank you for this point also. I'm truly sorry about the garden waterfall work underway in front of the building, as of now there is no more noise (or dust) but I again apologize for any noise or dust you encountered. Regarding the power outage, unfortunately in Vietnam when the power goes off.. we are also caught unaware :(. Such is life in a developing country. Thank you again for your feedback, we will continue to look into the items you commented on as well to see how it can be improved.
