Another great summer vacation on Lake Louise in this lovely rental. Fully stocked for anything you may need indoors as well as on the water. This was our second year renting this property and we can’t wait to do it again! Definitely a gem in Northern Michigan.
Perfect for a relaxing get away on a lake. Has everything you could need. Beds are very comfortable. Communication with Terry was great and appreciated. Kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils and cookware needed. Just what my family needed before school started. The lake is beautiful and we appreciated the use of all the water gear. Would love to do this again next year.
Our little family had a wonderful time renting this property. It was clean, fully stocked, and a perfect location on a beautiful lake with many amenities. The neighbors were friendly and it was close to where I grew up, so extended family could visit and enjoy the lake as well. We booked again for next year. The owners were very responsive to emails. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously.
This is the second time my family has rented here, and we love it! The lake is beautiful and perfect for water sports. And, the cottage is very clean and comfortable. It's a great place for a summer vacation.
We really enjoyed our time at the house. It was nice that it was so close to the water. We went fishing, tubing, kayaking, and swimming during our time there. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Thanks again!
My family spent a week at Terry and Janet’s lake house. Our single regret is that we only booked one week. The house was perfect for the three of us. It’s not a huge house but the outdoor space is plenty big. Everyone was able to find a private spot while still being within earshot of one another. The lake itself is absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for swimming and kayaking and paddling. There was not a lot of traffic on the water and at times it felt as if we were the only ones here. Do yourself a favor and use the kayaks to explore all three lakes. Terry and Janet are kind and generous hosts who go above and beyond for their guests. We will absolutely return as soon as we get the chance. Only next time we will book a longer stay. Thank you, Birch Villa for a beautiful and relaxing week away from the big city.
The home was neat and clean. Loved the view from the large living room. We enjoyed the swing on the deck. The paddle boat was fun. It was convenient to Norway and My family in Iron Mountain. We enjoyed a cookout with family with amp,e seating at the table.
We will be back.
This house was set on the lake with all the amenities you need. It was well stocked with just about anything you might want or need. The house is on Lake Louise and just a short walk to Lake Mary. We took day trips to several waterfalls & this was a great place to come home to each day. The wall of windows overlooking the lake was such a pleasure, its gorgeous!
Staying at Lake Louise in the summer with my family is something I've always wanted to do, and this cottage was the perfect place to do it! The cottage had everything we needed. It had more than enough room for 4 of us, all adults. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, and pots & pans. And, a huge supply of towels, including swim towels. The cottage was impeccably clean, and the beds very comfortable. We loved hearing birds every morning. The highlight is the gorgeous view of the lake. We were lucky to watch, and listen, to Loons on the lake a couple of evenings. We kayaked, hung out on the dock, and swam. In the evening we BBQ'd and had S'mores around the campfire. It truly was perfect and we plan to come back!
