"Great!"

"We had a great stay at Margi House. The room was beautifully furnished, and the outdoor jacuzzi was so lovely. The hill, which many mentioned, wasn’t too bad and was easily doable. The receptionist was super helpful and friendly - always with a smile on her face. Just a few things that could be improved: our coffee & water glasses weren’t cleaned until the last day. Since we didn’t have a kitchenette, this would have been nice. The main pool was lovely, but we did have to fish out a lot of bugs...

"The beach was further away than what was described and the “road” was not an actual road. The amenities ended up being less than what was listed, there are no washers, no parking, wifi sucks, etc. the pool was not clean, the food remained the same every day. It’s far from the main road. Towels were never changed, sheets never changed, never sweeper or mopped the room and we stayed for a decent time. Depending on the room the appliances did not work which we didn’t find out until everything went...

"The owners and staff at the hotel were fantastic and very helpful. The views from the terrace were amazing - breakfast very good - the walk into town took 10 mins - when booking you must be aware that the hotel is high up from the road so expect the steep inclines."

"We had a great stay at Mandraki Village. So many stunning beaches are walkable from the hotel. The rooms are great, the beds very comfortable and lots of amenities. A large pool and great bar/restaurant. It’s a very beautiful resort and very family friendly. As wonderful as the place is, it’s the staff that truly make this experience what it is. Miranda took every opportunity to go out of her way to make our stay the fabulous trip that it was."

I especially appreciated that the air conditioning could be individually controlled and wasn’t blowing directly onto the beds. The balcony was a great bonus, with a convenient area to hang towels and clothes to dry. The room also became very dark at night, which made for a great sleep, and the bathroom was modern, beautiful, and spotless. Handy for both the port and the airport. restaurants and shops all near by and lovely sunbathing terrace with pool (although we had no time to use it!) Staff were so friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend and will be coming back!"

"The views were amazing and the pool was perfect for our five kids. The staff was also very responsive and the breakfast was great. It is a bit of a long walk to the restaurants but doable. Skiathos is a lovely island! "
