Waterfront 1-bedroom cabin on 11+ acre waterfront estate on beautiful Beach Pond

  • This comfortable 3 room cabin with an enclosed porch is lakeside on Beach Pond in Voluntown, CT. It is one of two winterized cabins available for rent at this 11+ acre private lakefront estate. The bedroom features a queen bed, the living room has a pull-out sofa bed and a smart TV. The kitchen has a full sized refrigerator, gas range, and microwave, and is fully stocked for cooking including a coffee pot and toaster. The enclosed porch has a table with seating for four. The bathroom has a shower. A wood fired sauna and sauna deck are feet away from this cabin, right at the water's edge, and available to use. A dock for fishing boats is available. 2 canoes, 4 kayaks, and 1 double kayak are on the property and available for use along with life preservers. There are several firepits to choose from for a fire. Up to two dogs are permitted for an additional fee of $75/dog.

    Fishing is year round at Beach Pond with both RI and CT stocking trout and salmon. Pachaug Forest is just outside the property boundaries with many trails for walking and biking. Eagles, Osprey and deer are often spotted.

    It is hard to leave the peace and tranquility of this large private lakefront property, but if you do there are many options. We are within 30 - 35 minutes to the Mohegan Sun Casino, Foxwoods Casino, Mystic, Stonington borough, and Wickford and Westerly, RI, within 40 minutes to Narragansett, Point Judith, Jamestown, and Providence, RI as well as the RI beaches and the high speed ferry to Martha's Vineyard, and downtown Newport is an hour away.

    We use no fertilizer and minimal pesticides (ant traps and minimal direct ant killer pellets) so our lawn areas are all natural - kid, pet, bunny and butterfly friendly.

    We have quality 100% cotton linens and towels as well as quality pillows and mattresses helping you get a comfortable night's rest during your stay.
