Hotel Privo

Hotel Privo

8/10 Good
"I always have a good stay at Privo. Keep coming back year after year. It is a friendly place with nice buffet breakfast with some local delicacies and fresh breakfast items. I found that the safe was not working and after repeated requests the issue was still not corrected. Short of that and somewhat difficulty parking my stay was excellent."

The best area to stay in Voivodeni is within the village centre itself, particularly around the main road, DJ153C.

This central area of Voivodeni offers convenient access to local amenities and provides a good base for exploring the surrounding Mureș County. You'll find a few small shops and traditional eateries, giving you a real feel for local life. The village is compact, so walking around the centre is easy.

Couples looking for a peaceful retreat will appreciate the quiet surroundings and the opportunity to experience rural Romanian life. It's a great spot for leisurely walks through the village and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

When is the best time to go to Voivodeni?
The best time to go to Voivodeni is during the late spring (May to June) or early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant and the Transylvanian countryside is at its most picturesque.

During these months, you'll find comfortable temperatures for exploring the local area and the wider Mureș County. Spring brings blooming wildflowers and lush green landscapes, while autumn offers a beautiful display of changing leaf colours. Both periods avoid the peak summer heat and the colder winter months, making outdoor activities more enjoyable.

Families often find these times ideal for visiting, as the milder weather is great for exploring the nearby Pădurea Mociar nature reserve or taking day trips to the charming towns of Sighişoara or Târgu Mureș. There are also fewer crowds than in the peak summer, allowing for a more relaxed experience.

Couples looking for a peaceful escape will appreciate the tranquil beauty of Voivodeni during these shoulder seasons.
