Did not have breakfast so I couldn't judge that. However teh bar area had no life. If you could find a bar tender you could get a drink, but since there was hardly anyone there the bar was abandoned. Supposed to be open until 11, but one night at 10 the reception guy said" He went home!".
We had a great room, in a fairly central area to lots of things in Paris, but I would not stay here next time. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay the place is nice. We were looking for a bit of activity and maybe some interaction.

Mostly OK. Location is great. But our room was only refreshed occasionally, and maids failed to leave towels, water and coffee when they did service the room. Breakfast was disorganized and slow. Lastly, it is hard to read the room numbers and the halls are dimly lit. So it’s easy to get lost in this large hotel.

The Castile is in a good location for walking Paris and exploring local gems. The staff is attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food is good. The room was comfortable and we felt spoiled with all the special touches.

"I wouldnt recommend this hotel. It should be rated a 2 star at most. The towels in the room were dirty, ,arks on the bed linen. Communication with reception is non existent. The transfer bus was always full so why isnt there additional running service for your guests. Breakfast very average. Broken ..."
