"On 06.04.26 Expedia confirmed our HB booking at the Villa Radin Hotel. At that time, meals were at La Belle Vie Restaurant. On 12.05.26 a letter from Villa Radin (via Expedia) stated breakfast at Villa Radin, dinner at La Belle Vie. On 14.05.26 we checked in and were told all meals at Villa Radin. La Belle Vie not opened. On 20.05.26 we went to Radin restaurant. A member of staff informed us that an ‘in-house’ function was being held and we were to have dinner at the Hotel Punta. No warning of this change, no discussion, simply told where to go. Meals at the Hotel Punta were not in the booking arrangement. It was a shock but we did go to the Punta. This was crowded and chaotic, presumably due to all of the HB guests, at all of the group’s adjacent hotels, eating there. It was an awful experience, contrary to our reasons for booking the Radin and for paying the premium in cost. We made a verbal complaint at the Radin Reception, at around 20.00 and asked for the Manager to be advised. The Radin party took place close to our balcony, with all the usual noise and merriment. It was still going on at 22.30. We liked the Villa Radin and its helpful staff but we would never again be able to trust the management. What happened was premeditated, not caused by an unavoidable event. The management did not open the La Belle Vie restaurant but then closed the Villa Radin restaurant, to its guests, so that it could hold its own party."
