    Wake to the Sea of Cortez, enjoy morning coffee on your private terrace, then take a five-minute walk down to the beach. Driftwood is an intimate suite for two at Casa del Mar—a peaceful place for couples to reconnect, explore the East Cape or simply enjoy a few unhurried days together.

    YOUR PRIVATE SPACE

    This approximately 460-sq-ft suite offers a king-size bed, dressing area, en-suite bathroom and fully equipped kitchenette with a bistro/work bar. Air conditioning, Starlink Wi-Fi and a TV provide everyday comforts.

    Your private sea-view terrace is a natural extension of the suite—a place for slow breakfasts, relaxed dinners and quiet evenings with the ocean breeze.

    POOL, JACUZZI & SHARED SPACES

    Driftwood is one of just four independent suites at Casa del Mar. Your suite and terrace are private; the infinity pool, heated jacuzzi, yoga deck, fire pit and communal outdoor dining areas are shared with guests staying in the other suites.

    The jacuzzi, outdoor grill and picnic table are nearby. Above, the infinity pool and lounge deck offer sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez—an inviting spot for an afternoon with a book or a quiet drink as the light changes.

    THE EAST CAPE

    Casa del Mar sits within gated Cabo Vinorama, between San José del Cabo and Cabo Pulmo, where desert meets sea and the pace of life softens.

    Enjoy shoreline walks, swimming or snorkeling when conditions allow. Nearby surf breaks include La Poza and Punta Perfecta; experience, suitable conditions and your own equipment are needed.

    Explore the reefs of Cabo Pulmo, discover the coastal dining spots around La Fortuna, or stay close to home and enjoy the calm.

    BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

    A car is needed to enjoy this part of the East Cape. The final approach includes an unpaved coastal road, and we recommend stocking up on groceries in San José before arriving.

    Casa del Mar runs entirely off-grid, with solar power and generator support. Reverse-osmosis purified drinking water is provided, and thoughtful use of water and electricity helps us care for this remote setting.

If you’re looking for a place to relax and reset, this is the place. I can’t recommend this place enough. It felt like I had my own private beach. Absolutely amazing views and those sunrises were spectacular. As for the house, amazing. Just as advertised. Super clean and great location. I would recommend a small crossover vehicle. This place is on my list to revisit next time I’m in Cabo. Thanks again to Michael, Manny and especially Olivia. She was super helpful and an amazing person. Thanks for having me.
