Super 8 by Wyndham Big Cabin/Vinita Area

"The lady at the front desk was very helpful. The first room she gave us had very little air conditioner actually coming out of the vent so she moved us to the room next-door, which had the same problem. She then moved us around the corner to another room which had more than acceptable amount of air-conditioning although on a really hot summer day could have been questionable. The bed was very comfortable & clean. The shower seemed to have been remodeled compared to the first two that she gave us. The TV was definitely newer in the third room. There was the weirdest thing in a hotel like this that still has carpet on the floors; there was a bidet in the bathroom and it actually worked! Weird for a Super 8, but ok…The room smelled too much like chemical cleaning products and all had carpet. It’s in a great location right next to a Love’s and could be like a really great property if they would put some work into the rooms. It was really cool that whoever actually does own the hotel and live there had a really awesome garden. it was acceptable since she was able to place us in a room with a working air conditioner, but for the price we have had way way better hotels that fit into the same category as a Super 8. Also, she said she didn’t know which rooms had a good air conditioner or not. There needs to be a list and they need to give customers the ones that actually work and fix the other ones."

"This cottage was absolutely perfect!! I loved how it was decorated and how fully stocked it was. They clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making sure you truly felt at home here. Five stars for how clean it was. It was just an easy home to feel relaxed in."

"We had the best quality time with family. This place had room for everyone and more than enough outdoor space for the kids to play. The dock is getting redone, but we still had plenty of space and will be an excellent update for future stays."

"Rooms were very clean and the host was excellent. Answered all questions quickly. A couple of the kitchen appliances had some challenges but nothing serious. Our family loved the size and layout of the property. Good time had by all!"

"Some of the bedrooms were kind of dusty. But everything else was nice and clean and decorated very nice. Loved the back porch. Great place but I wouldn’t recommended for seniors. Lot and lots of stairs. Not a very good supply of wash clothes, but had plenty of towels. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need to cook with and eat with Not much of a view of the lake. Was not a fan of the swimming pool. The host was very friendly and there to solve any problems we had."

"Great property for my family gathering! Plenty of room for everyone! We loved the ice machines and all the refrigerator space! The pool was a great option for those who didn’t want to get in the lake as well. The AC worked well in all spaces which was wonderful in the July heat. The host was easy to work with and helpful and the houses had everything we needed for a fabulous stay!"
