"Very friendly owners (great at using real-time translation apps) who produced good food and arranged taxi rides, both for a modest extra fee. Guest rooms are impressively cool with good air-conditioning, but you’ll need to buy at least one extra bottle of water from front desk every day. Don’t be put off by the somewhat scruffy street location - it is inexpensive (good value for money) and handily close to Hanoi airport."

"Could not recommend this hotel more. Arriving at midnight after a long sleeper bus with no cash to pay my driver the night shift baggage handler happily stepped in to pay half. I could not be more thankful and recommend this place more."

"This is a small but quaint hotel. It does have an elevator, which is helpful. The air conditioner will take a while to cool down the room. The front desk staff is very helpful in carrying luggage, and info on where to eat. The room is very clean and well maintained. The only thing I did not like is that the shower has no curtain, nor partition from the toilet and sink, so everything gets wet. I had to use an extra towel to dry up the floor and sink counter and toilet. Other than that, it’s a nice room."
