Our room was cute and spacious with a great view. Enjoyed the bathtub and the comfortable bed. The staff were all amazing and helpful. Good location. Highly recommend!

Great location in Valpo. All of the staff was very helpful and went out of their way to assist us—stored a lot of luggage for us, helped us bring it to our room, and was very responsive. Breakfast was cooked to order and kitchen staff was also very nice. A small boutique hotel that delivered.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Galos. Everything was perfect! Florencia greeted us upon arrival and mapped out an itinerary for us. She recommended Maleza restaurant which did not disappoint. Breakfast was included and had a nice variety and fresh eggs. The rooftop was a great addition. The view is fantastic and Pablo at the bar served great pisco sours. Felipe also provided us with some wonderful recommendations. The rooms were very clean and modern. The value for money cannot be beat. We highly recommend it! PS. Street parking was easy to find and free!

Great Location, Wonderful Stay

This is a gorgeous property in the Cerro Alegre, walkable to everything. The staff was professional and helpful - and spoke English, which was much appreciated as we arrived after traveling for 24 hours! The breakfast was terrific, the room large and well-appointed. Highly recommend!

This place is far and away the best in the area. Facilities are new and clean (which is not true of other places nearby). The staff is super helpful, and the breakfast was wonderful. Will definitely stay here again next time we come.

I loved my stay at Galos

Casa Galos was a very nicely done complete remodel of an old mansion up the hill in Cerro Conception Valpo with a rooftop deck and great view of the harbor, and close to several excellent restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast healthy and fresh. I highly recommend it.

Perfect area lovely rooms

Rooms really nice, comfortable and spacious. Very light. Great area, so happy we stayed around here. Coffee at breakfast was terrible but that seemed to be the case for all of Chile.

Perfect location for exploring Valpo by foot with a superb view from the rooftop terrace. The staff is super friendly and helpful with tips in the area, transfers to the airport in Santiago or just at the breakfast buffet. Our rooms were spacious and clean. The whole house seems to be very well managed.

Lovely home away from home

We did not arrive until late at night. The hotel was expecting us. They called us by name and greeted us with a friendly smile Check in was quick. The fellow took our bags up to our room for us, set us up on Wi-Fi and answered any questions we had. The room was large and lovely and overlooked Valpariso Bay. The bathroom was fully renovated, and there was a small kitchen more like a studio apartments. The place was spotless and secure. Breakfast the next day was tasty and eggs were cooked to order. There was an elevator which came quickly. We will stay there again in a heartbeat. We will be back to Valpariso, as there’s much to see and do.

The location and staff for this hotel were very good. After touring the entire city it became clear that this hotel is in the best location. The staff was always very helpful. We had one tour scheduled to start early in the AM so the staff was eager to prepare a breakfast for us to eat in our room as their breakfast time did not start until 8:30. However, the cleanliness was questionable. I didn't pack my slippers so I walked around my room barefoot. Before going to bed I looked at the bottom of my feet and they were totally black. From then on I wore socks, but had to throw them away.
