Getaway in the Bungalow

I really liked this place. It was clean and cute, and it was close to the bay. The location is nice; it's on a quiet street close enough to Cape May but far enough away to have quiet at night. Would stay here again!

Cute Bungalow

We enjoyed our week stay at the bungalow in the Villas. It was a short drive to Cape May and surrounding areas. It was a perfect size for my family of 4(2 children). The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The bay is a short walk at the end of the road. Overall a nice trip!

Avoid the Beach Crowds and Craziness

The Bay Beach is a few minute walk away. The back porch Florida room is unique and has bay breezes. Stores are close by.

Cute and Quaint

What a lovely little house. We were in for a class reunion. It felt like being home. The house was clean and tidy with all of the necessities. There were a few items that could have been updated, but sufficient. The host was pretty good with response time.time. overall a really great tplace.

Cozzy and comfy

We were traveling for my sons coast guard grad and the place was perfect. Comfortable beds and a very homey feel. I loved it. Down the street was the beach to enjoy the perfect sunsets. I would definitely stay again. And communication was great. They answered any questions quick.

This was an enjoyable stay for us. We loved walking to the bay in the morning with our coffee! We found it to be so peaceful and quiet. The futon was super comfortable. We forgot to bring sheets even though the property manager told us we needed them, so friendly reminder to not be like us! We wish there was a working lighter and/or matches so we could light our candle and the fire pit. All in all, we’d love to go back!

Relaxing and great sunsets

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing location and the Bayside Bungalow definitely fit the bill. We walked to the end of the street to watch the gorgeous sunsets with many of the neighbors nearly every evening. There are restaurants within walking distance - Mel's Place is great for breakfast! The bungalow was very clean, and nicely appointed. It was perfect for our needs. It is a bit of a drive to Cape May, to grocery stores, and the beaches where you can swim, but even on a holiday weekend, it was not bad. We will definitely stay again if we visit the area.

Good and not so good

Property was just what we needed for our stay. Owner had LOTS of rules. I guess if i was a college student those rules would be necessary but felt cumbersome to me a 54 year old woman and my 72 year old mom and made us nervous like we were going to do something wrong. Unfortunately during our time there, there were dead hard shell crabs ALL over the beach and smelled terrible so we couldn't enjoy the beach at all.

Good value, great location

The cottage is located within easy access to the area’s delightful attractions. Renters are made aware that the cozy spacing does not suit a large washing machine for sheets and towels. The appointments are reliable and generally of quality. Exceptions: a) Window a.c. units are noisy. b) Wifi & tv service packages should be upgraded, even if the rental price has to be slightly raised. Our overall impression is positive, and the owner tries to provide a comfortable setting.

We didn't stay long. We arrived at approximately 11:30pm and left at 8:30am. We are a family of 5 and were visiting another family in a small bungalow and truly just needed a place to sleep - we didn’t use the fridge/kitchen sink/TV/shower.
